VILLA MAYA is an open invitation to adventure! Just 15 minutes away from Santa Elena International Airport and 45 minutes from Tikal National Park, the hotel is located in a vast natural private reserve, on the shores of Petenchel and Monifata lagoons, where a wide variety of birds inhabit, as well as unique flowers and trees. The 56 rooms (35 standard, 12 Superior Rooms and 9 Cabañas) at VILLA MAYA are arranged in 10 bungalows of 2 or 3 floors each, with 2 rooms per story and 10 individual bungalows; all rooms are reachable by paths and surrounded by beautiful gardens and tropical rainforest. VILLA MAYA offers restaurant & deck, room service, “La Tiendita” souvenir shop, 2 outdoor swimming pools for adults & children, beautiful gardens, nature trails, bike rental, refugee for the conservation & breeding of the White-tail deer, scarlet macaw and pecari, free wireless internet in public areas, parking lot, heliport, shuttle service & tours; also the hotel offers two meeting rooms.
Set in a nature preserve, it is open. Reception was easy and even though carrying luggage up stairs is difficult, a second floor view is worth it. So many species to see and hear: birds, turtles, etc. Breakfast is buffet and plenty to hold you until lunch. Dinner was a long wait on our first night. Possible answers: a huge tour group had just descended into the dining room. However, their meal was buffet but still could provide most staff attention. Pool and mini pool are small for the amount of people that could stay here. There’s even a limit to the amount of people allowed. Room has no tv. It’s a place to enjoy the sounds and sights. And even though I stayed 1 night, I could’ve stayed longer w out the tv; it was a new and different experience. Beds comfortable; separate toilet room, sink and shower. No toiletries. The mosquitoes are relentless. I have the battle scars to prove it even w my big repellent but I would come better prepared if I returned.

Casa Faustina is located in the beautiful historic City of Antigua Guatemala, behind the Ruins of Candelaria's Church, near Cerro de la Cruz, about 15 minutes walking from the Central Park. We offer a comfortable stay in elegant rooms all decorated with typical handmade fabrics and furniture, private bathrooms with amenities, robes for personal use and hairdryer, cable TV and free WiFi.
We actually stayed in two different rooms the two nights that we travelled to Antigua, and both of them were just great. The beds are so comfortable, it was hard for me to go back to my own bed, the breakfast was delicious and the service was pretty good too. We definitely recommend this hotel, there's no noise and it is very close to everything.

We loved our stay at Villas Jucanya. We arranged for pickup from the airport and it went very smoothly. The villa was beautiful. It was perfect for our party of four. Could have housed even more. It has everything you could want for a stay and then some. My Spanish is not great but the staff at Jucanya was able to get me on the phone with English speaking help and got us in touch with Adrenalina Tours. Between the staff at Villas Jucanya and Adrenalina Tours we were well taken care of. Raul and Lorenzo were two of our tour guides and were fantastic. Highly recommend. We loved our stay in Panajachel and hope to come back and stay at Villas Jucanya. Note: --You are not right on the lake, but it is a quick 5 minute walk (probably less than that). --You are not in the center of town but we liked that and had zero problems getting to where we needed to be quickly. They can call tuk tuks for you. Also for some of the tours, the boats will pick you up and drop you off right at the beach. --Adrenalina Tours was great. Ask for Diego. He went above and beyond and was super helpful our entire time in Panajachel. Our trip would not have been the same without him. The staff at Villas Jucanya recommended him to us. --ATMS were easy to find in town to get Guatemalan money. We did exchange some at the airport. Not sure if we got the best value but it was the easiest.

El Delfin Hotel y Restaurante is San Pedro La Laguna's newest & most accommodating hotel. All of our rooms have luxury pillow top mattresses, fans, and a special kind of attention to detail that no other hotel in town offers. We are more of a boutique hotel and due to our small size we can better arrange activities and tours for our guests. Experience Lake Atitlan with us!
My mission teammates and I ate 3 meals a day for 6 days and enjoyed a variety of authentic Guatemalan foods and healthy eating. The owners are very pleasant and accommodating. Loved the fresh squeezed orange juice each morning with diverse egg dishes. The servings were very generous. They always offered us an assortment of teas and juices each meal. Dined in a peaceful, quiet and clean atmosphere. The establishment also offers a gym and hotel accommodation. Highly recommend dining at El Delfin.

Stayed here two nights. Really nice place to stay at an affordable price compared to other places with similar amenities like your own cabin. The place is bigger than I expected from the photos and the deck outside is rather long. it has a bedroom with two large beds and the shower is pretty good. The housekeeper was really nice. it's not too far to walk to San Pedro. You can catch a tuctuc by walking up the driveway to the main road.

We found this gem and LIVED it!!! I am traveling with my 75 and 80 year old parents and we could not have been taken care of better. Delicious breakfast, clean room and bathroom, but what made us come back are José and Julia. What caring, polite people. Well done!!!

We stayed at the "Mirador" two nights and we have really appreciated. The hotel is a "country house" on the top of the hill. The view is great and it is possible to see both sunshine and sunset. The place is relaxing and calm because the Mirador is 20 minutes by tuctuc from the town center. There are a swimming pool and a bar/restaurant. There is also a "canopy way" for the braves. In my opinion the service has been 5 stars (I really want to highlight that the Staff is great!). David is the guy taking care of the guests. Food is very good and Doña Patricia is a very good cooker. Sometimes there can be a blackout but this is normal in the town. In this case the Staff will activate a generator to supply electricity. These two days helped me to relax and I felt like in family with the Staff. Thanks a lot, I will suggest to everybody this place.
