Itâs down a beautiful narrow road with olive trees and wine all over the hills. Most friendly hosts. They took great care of our kids.Food was classic Tuscan dishes. Very tasty and we ended up very full and satisfied. Worth a detour.

We had an opportunity to stop by for a dinner and ended up getting a great memory as well. We stopped by around 7 on the way back from Lucca. We started with the normal round of wine. Arron made some great recommendations and we had a huge platter for he first course..to say it was amazing is an understatement. It was served on a three tiered platter. I will work to add some photos because it will make the point! We then had the other recomendations he had made and were not disappointed. I don't want to spoil the surprise but if you get the steaks (4 fingers worth) get your camera out when it is delivered. If you are in the area I would try and make it a point to stop in and enjoy this quaint restaurant.

Looking for an early evening meal after travelling around the Chianti towns we revisited San Casciano, checking out this place. Not stunningly beautiful inside but if you want a beautiful meal where the locals go, please try this place. I started with soup made from fave beans, wonderful. Then my wife had roast pork and I had penne with a type of meat sauce. I would eat every morsel again. The staff were very friendly and helpful

If you like authentic local food and local ambience, you will not go wrong with this place.Super friendly and helpful staff whose English was plenty good enough to take the time to explain the whole menu and recommend local wine.Went with my wife and 20 something kids and we all agreed the place was an absolute stealWe were stating the other side of San Casciano and the drive seemed a bit further than I thought it would be but well worth the driveLovely

Just enjoyed our best meal in 10 days. Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service and the food was phenomenal. This little town is a hidden gem and Ristorante Nello is fitting.

My husband and I visited with our extended family (a dozen people); several of us had visited before, years ago. Food is excellent, customer service is friendly and welcoming. There are not many tables, so be sure to make reservations! Casual, homey atmosphere. Be warned that dinner may take a while during very busy periods. It took three hours from arrival to when our first courses were served (after appetizers), and they accidentally forgot my order â by the time it arrived, the rest of the family had finished eating. BUT the food is worth the wait!

An attentive and careful restoration work has transformed the village into an elegant restaurant with great attention to detail. With Florentine hospitality and thanks to the kitchen chef driven directly by Libero and sons Lorenzo and Matteo, the Albergac
Our tour group had a cooking class, wine tasting & lunch here. Fantastico! Chefs Liberio, Olga & Elisabetta were amazing, so helpful and knowledgeable. Our group luncheon where our creations were served was belissima. Tons of fun under the Tuscan sun in the Chianti region.Thank you so much!

Our day off is monday . we are open at lunch on Saturday and Sunday from 12.30 until 14 oclock pm at dinner from tuesday until sunday from 7.15pm until 10oclockpm
Good atmosphere, fine starters and wine, pasta for the vegetarians and a standing rib roast that almost converted those party-poopers to the carniverous life. Marco and his staff speak impeccable English and advise the guests about what size standing rib roast is right. Then the meat comes to the table, perfectly seasoned and grilledn on a litle brazier to keep it warm. This is the authentic bistecca alla fiorentina, not the nonsense in silly portions that the tourists have. Make sure to leave a little room for the sides (you order them separately) and lots for the desert. Many many thanks for yr beautiful review!Marco and Silvia
