It is a cosy and family friendly restaurant, located on the yildizeli road off Sivas. Good for meat dishes. Staff is attentive and provides good advice for new comers. Try Sivas kebab, Sivas kofte, and kunefe, a tasty dessert made of pastry and cheese. My family and I enjoyed it! Bilgin

Just south of the centre, behind the excellent Buruciye Hotel, the Sofra has two adjacent locations, one a pleasant two story restaurant serving delicious food.The constant stream of home delivery service was a reliable indicator of Sofra's popularity.Friendly, swift service, very good value, highly recommended.No alcohol, but hey, you're in historic Sivas, not tourist-oriented Turkey.

The restaurant is very central, and is large in going up several floors. The Atmosphere and the decor are exceptional. The service is cheerful and professionalHowever the food is canteen food that has been pre-cooked earlier in the day (yes sir, fresh cooked this morning) It then sits in bain-maries until it is sold. This is typical fo many (perhaps most) Turkish restaurants outside Istanbul. By and large food that has stewed in a bain marie for several hours does taste as if it has been in a bain marie for several hoursNevertheless I rated this restaurant quite highly because it was a pleasure to sit there and enjoy the ambience. If they could only improve the food it would be perfect!

It was very strange to find its location near an industrial area. It might be located in an good environment.But after entering from first door you become relaxed just because of door atmosphere. As its cousine, you can find traditional foods and deserts additionaly some Grill staff such as kebaps etc.Special traditional Meals that you May not find anywhere better is that kuru fasulye, haslama etc.I recommended this place to enjoy meal with friends, family or business partners.
