SAFRANBOLU SOFRASI Karabük Safranbolu is a boutique restaurant in the old bazaar. We recommend that everybody come and see us.
This place serves the BEST dolma. Served with fresh yoghurt, in our view this is a must try in Safranbolu. We also ordered the peruhi which were delicious. The restaurant is simple and comes complete with Turkish soaps on the TV but that adds to it's homely charm. Two filling dishes plus drinks (soda water) and our bill came to a princely total of 17 tkl. NOTE: I think the restaurant has moved, or the Tripadvisor listing address is incorrect. We stumbled on it on a different street to the address listed above. It was on or close to Hidirlik Yokusu Sk.

Good breakfast, helpful staff (though with no English), good prices. Traditional Turkish breakfast - small, medium or large. The Turkish raviolis were good.

I think I might slightly prefer the pasta dishes at nearby Zenficil, but Kazan Ocagi also has very good local dishes and a great atmosphere on the balcony. The cheese pasta was memorable. Recommend!

Found this on tripadvisor, could not fault the food... Simply delicious! Especially the local kuyu kababi; Kind of a slow cooked lamb on the bone, just melts in your mouth. Also had the cheesy fragrant rice and a mixed salad (on their suggestion) which was so fresh and delicious... I would never normally mention a salad!Atmosphere was a little glum and the wait staff a little rude. But still delicious!

The mansion, wich was offered to the service of tourism with in the body of Imren Lokum that is one of the oldest and most famous Turkish delight producers of Safranbolu, is one of the significant large mansions of the region. It is renovated in line with
The meal options were limited but our choices were excellent. The Turkish Ravioli and the stuffed grape leaves were delicious. The restaurant is charming with lots of eclectic decorations. And while it looks like it's going to be expensive, the prices were extremely reasonable

Visitors to Safranbolu now have a bonafide contemporary dining option that delivers on thick steaks and creamy pasta dishes. Service is more aloof than elsewhere in town, but the alluring wall art, multi-purpose exhibition space and extensive wine menu ma
Difficult to locate it is above the historic house museum. Persevere as this place is pleasant and has a range of dishes that are not exceptional but if you need a break from Turkish cooking is perfect. Would be a very nice place on a sunny day. We found this wonderful restaurant on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try, because it had good reviews. We were not disappointed. In fact, we liked the food and the atmosphere so much that we came to eat here to nights in a row. Located in the city center this restaurant offers a great variety of local food. Everything is prepared fresh and quite quickly and it tastes amazing. The service is very friendly and helpful, always with a smile on their faces. We were sad to leave Safranbolu after staying there for two nights, because we would have come back here to eat for a third time for sure! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. This unpretentious cafe lies behind the caravanserai. The menus is typical of dozens of restaurants in the town and the only dish I have eaten is the lentil soup. What lifted this dish above any other I have tasted in Turkey is the home made bread which accompanies it. For TL7 you wonât find better. thanks for advice..See you
