A trip to Büyükada just isn't complete without a stop at Ada Kahvalti. The owners, chefs, and waitstaff make you feel right at home. In addition to the sweet folks and decor, and the precious little pots your breakfast comes in, the food is excellent. Get the menamen (tomato-egg scramble)! It's so good they always seem to be full, but its worth the wait. Do yourselves a favor and have a nice relaxing breakfast at Ada Kahvalti. It embodies Turkish hospitality at it's best. (P.S. after I left Turkey, I found the restaurant on Instagram. Be sure to follow them so you can reminisce about your trip.)
This terrace restaurant offers a nice view of the nearby Heybeliada island as well as the shore of Istanbul with the Bosphorus.Tables are clothed, service is extremely kind and attentive. Food is very good, turkish meat and seafood specialties with moderate prices. Discrete acoustic guitar Turkish ballades in the background. Overall, very romantic and relaxing. Highly reccomended.

Buyukada is not known for its food. That said, the experience of taking a fayton (horse carriage) through the forests and gorgeous houses to the far side of the island is a fun experience, and once you arrive here you are rewarded with tasty eats and gorgeous views over the cliff on which this restaurant sits. Service was good; food was solid, casual grilled Turkish food (not particularly memorable and not my favorite on the Prince's Islands, but not bad either); prices are average; but the setting is really what brings you here. The kofte was pretty good. And a word to the wise: don't believe the fayton drivers who take you here from the harbor and tell you that you have to pre-arrange a double-priced ride back with them after you eat - there is actually a carriage stand very near the restaurant that the waiters will call for you when you decide to return.

We discovered this restaurant on our family trip to the island. The place is magical with lots of delicious food and sweets. It totally reflects the island's welcoming and warm character, thanks to the chef and the service personnel. Our experience in this restaurant will remain as one of most the cherished memories of our family trip to the beautiful Buyuk Ada. Don't leave the island without experiencing this restaurant.

I got a chicken kebab for 16 lira and it was done perfectly. I also had some pastries that were good. They didn't come with anything but it was still a good meal, but really what you want are the incredible views over islands and the suburban sprawl of Istanbul. I stayed for 2 hours drinking beer because it was such an amazing sight.

This is a delightful seaside restaurant in Princess Island. Being a vegetarian, I was wondering what would I be able to eat since most of the lunch seemed based on seafood. However, we were pleasantly surprised about the veggie options that were provided including pasta with tomato paste. It was bland but they made the effort to provide it. Hats off.Fish is stored in tanks outside the restaurant and customers can choose the one they want and its cooked.
