This convention center is located in what used to be a US Naval Base in Isla Grande. Next to the Isla Grande Airport, in Miramar. The architecture is inspired by the ocean, with different tones of blue to symbolize waves. Puerto Rico Convention Center is one of the largest convention centers in the Caribbean and one of the few technologically advanced centers in The Americas. It is a place where you can attend to a variety of events of interesting organizations and more!
The PR Convention Center is a beautifully architecturally structured building. Attended the Coffee and Chocolate Expo and had a great time. It’s easy to get to.

Built with the intention to be a Civil Hospital. The construction of this building starts in 1877, and after just one year the use of this building changes to be the Provincial Prison. After the Hispanoamerican War, it becomes again a hospital. Today this space is used to be an Archive and General Library of Puerto Rico. Come by and learn more about the Island's history from the valuable documents this structure houses!
Founded in 1992. In 2004 we received the Institute of Musem and Library Services (IMLS) National Award for Excellence in Community Service, the first Puerto Rican library to be so honored. We hope that you will visit us on the 3rd floor of the Banco Popular Building on the Plaza Colon in Mayaguez.
