Melke is an excellent driver - he is very skilful, has a fantastic knowledge of Addis (whether you are travelling for business or leisure), and is an exceptionally honest and kind person. I have used Melke's services three times in the past few months, and I would not consider going with anyone else. Whether you are in Ethiopia for a business trip, a holiday, or just need someone to collect you from the Airport - Melke is the best person for the job. He is very responsive over email, text or whatsapp and will work very hard to make sure you have a smooth and enjoyable trip. Highly recommend.

My wife and I spent two weeks with Demiss driving us around Ethiopia’s northern circuit, from Bahir Dar to Lalibela, via Gondar, the Simien Mountains, Axum and the Gheralta region. We were expecting a driver, but Demiss is much more than that. Firstly, he is a very good and careful driver, transporting us safely over some very long distances and under some quite challenging road conditions. But he also proved to be a great guide, giving us a wealth of information about Ethiopian history, culture, traditions and practices, in particular with regard to the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, about which he is extremely knowledgeable, which really enhanced the many visits to churches that we made. He was also unfailingly courteous and accommodating, and went out of his way to ensure that our particular interests and preferences were met. And he was very helpful in facilitating our interactions with local people, which weren’t entirely without hitches! But aside from all that, Demiss is also an extremely nice person - good-natured, kind, considerate and good-humoured. A great guy to have spent a couple of weeks with. We recommend him without hesitation!

My wife and I had a few days around Addis Ababa after travelling to the south of Ethiopia. We found Melke on internet via trip advisor and emailed him. Melke is a highly professional guide and driver, speaks fluent English, he is a very easy going person and a nice guy to hang out with. Make sure to reach out to him if you are in Ethiopia!
