Telephone ahead to be sure of a place on the ferry. Staff are really friendly and lovely in both the ticket office and on the ferry, answering questions.

Use this station quite a lot since I retired in past three years! The car park is free though always very full but you can also park for free a short distance in the St Brides car park!! Trains either go to Whitehead Larne direction or you can be in the centre of Belfast in 30 minutes!! The station comes with its own resident cat who is very friendly and sits beside you ! The station has a very nice newsagents that sell hot drinks! Very friendly!! The station Has a lovely cared like ok about it with beautiful flowers in hanging baskets all around the station !! Love it ???? oh and there’s also addition of free WiFi when travelling on train !! Just mind the gap !!!

Sadly had to return to Ireland for a Bereavement and was the only principal who could take a car, thought I would give P&O a go having done Stena last year, booking easy and so was the check-in process , boat slightly late due to weather, the Larne ferries are basic in comparison to the Dover Boats and Stena but adequate for the trip, off the other end in under 20 minutes from the cardeck call. Foot passengers unless going to Larne better served by Stena. Fish and Chips on board was very good and reasonably priced (in context).
