Art, imitation, magic, human imitation, calligraphy, lively art, surprised art, performance using light and video, etc. Some of the celebrities are on TV, and this is the only theater in Japan today. It is recommended.

Not only did I finish this experience with Akira very full (and a bit drunk) but I finish with a group of new friends! Akira organizes a great set of food stops that are all absolutely delicious. The best part is the social atmosphere that this creates. It obviously varies every day and will be different based on when you go and who else is on the tour, but our group was amazing. Thank you Akira, for sharing your city with us.

Take a walk on the wild side with an evening tour through Shinjuku, Tokyo’s famous entertainment district, and get a local's look into the best shopping and night life. The tour was just like a live stream. You will get on a rickshaw and your friendly driver will show you around in Kyoto. After the ride, your guide will walk with you and take you to the beautiful bamboo forest and Tenruji Temple. You will also meet monkeys at the park in Iwatayama! The only thing I was disappointed about was I couldn't taste the Shojin Ryori or Buddhist vegetarian meal that our guide Mickey-san showed and explained. I should be on the real tour!
Behind every stoic Japanese businessman face there is a secret, thus one aspect of "honne tatemae," which loosely translates to something along the lines of keeping the publicly acceptable face forward, and the true face within. This, combined with Japanese culture's general disdain for public affection, might make Tokyo seem to not have as vibrant an LGBT presence as hoped. Worry not: In a city as big as Tokyo, there is of course a thriving gay scene -- if you know where to look. Tonight, you'll not only see Japan's largest gayborhood, Shinjuku 2-chome, but Asakusa in the evening as well. You'll also get a solid primer in Japanese gay society, both past and present. We'll stop along the way for a local Japanese meal (veg options available), and a couple of drinks too. Get ready for a well-rounded adventure into the heart of homosexuality in Japan, led by a friendly native (or equivalent) speaker of your selected language who knows what it means to be gay in Japan.
Inclusions: Dinner, 2 drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), Gratuities, Alcoholic Beverages
Exclusions: Hotel pickup (please inquire -- this may be available for an additional charge upon request), Transportation (you'll need 270 yen for the one subway ride we take)
Kevin was awesome. Professional, knowledgeable, and gave us the perfect experience. Easily would’ve taken us 3 days to visit the sites on our own... and we certainly would not have had the context provided from the tour. With COVID a continuing concern, having a vehicle to transport us around instead of hopping on and off a dozen+ trains and busses, was a comforting benefit. Will use this service again when other family comes out to visit Japan in the future.
