We will enjoy a relaxing yatch sailing through the historic and challenging Beagle Channel, the cradle of countless historic shipwrecks in these icy waters south of the Strait of Magellan. One of the objectives will be to obtain the typical postcard with the lighthouse behind us. We set sail from the tourist pier along the wide Ushuaia Bay, observing from another perspective the profile of the city of Ushuaia and the geographical distribution at the foot of the Andes Mountains; until reaching the Beagle Channel through the Paso Chico. There we sail around the Island of the Birds where we appreciate the Fuegian birds such as Skúas, Black-browed Albatross, Steam Ducks, Cauquenes, Cook Gulls and Gray Gulls. We go on around the sea lions’ island where we can see specimens of sea lions with one and two hairs. Both islands belong to the Bridges archipelago.
Inclusions: Coffee and/or Tea
Exclusions: Harbour tax: 1 usd aprox

This tour of the Beagle Channel, islands teeming with wildlife, the penguin colony and Estancia Harberton is well worth the time and money although we had a bit of a glitch in our tour. We had booked a tour on a small boat with 20 passengers. We were placed on a catamaran with three decks containing several hundred people. Bait and switch? Communication with Trip Advisor was poor. We thought we were with a company called Signature Tours, when we got to the pier the morning of departure, no one had heard of them. We spent about 30 minutes determining where we needed to be. We ended up with a company called Rombu Sur. The wind was blowing the day of our tour, so the channel was rough. The larger boat was more comfortable and we enjoyed our tour, especially of the museum at Harberton. Wonderful English speaking guides. We rode a comfortable bus back to Ushuaia. All in all we had a great day after a stressful start due to poor communication by Trip Advisor. None of the emails I sent were responded to by Trip Advisor. My advice? Wait until you are in Ushuaia and book your tour directly with the tour company and cut out the middle man! Shame on Trip Advisor.

We were in Ushuaia for two days ahead of joining an Antarctic cruise and wanted to spend some time trekking in order to experience the beautiful Patagonian mountain landscapes. We explained our timings/situation/experience to Sebastian and he suggested an accelerated Torres del Rio Chico short circuit and arranged everything for us. Our guide, Ignacio, collected us from the hotel exactly on time and drove us up into the mountains where we set off on a truly stunning two-day hike. Ignacio was a legend - very experienced, hugely knowledgeable and great company - we could not have asked for a better guide! After 2 amazing (and tiring!) on the mountain, Ignacio delivered us back to the hotel in plenty of time to join our cruise. Thank you Sebastian for arranging and thank you Ignacio for a truly amazing time - we are extremely grateful. Would highly recommend to anyone passing through Ushuaia who wants to see a little more of the region but off the beaten trail

We work with small groups of up to 18 passengers in a familiar and friendly environment with the company of professional Spanish and English speaking guides. The excursions are carried out with the "KAMS and" TELIENKA "yachts, twin vessels of 15 meters in length, which due to their dimensions allow a maximum approach to the islands allowing preferential sightings. During our tour we visit Isla Alicia, Isla de Pájaros and Isla de Lobos, where we make very close sightings of the fauna of the Beagle Channel. We know the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse built in 1919, a true emblem of the City of Ushuaia. At the end, we disembark at Bridges Island to walk a path of interpretation of flora and birds, telling the story of the Yámanas aborigines. Here are the largest Yámana anthropogenic shells in the region. It also has a panoramic point from where we can observe the magnificence of the Beagle Channel with the City of Ushuaia in the distance.
Inclusions: Coffee, tea varieties, hot chocolate, the typical Argentine mate and sweet cookies

We chose this particular tour because it included an opportunity to get out on one of the islands and walk a while. The guide shared interesting information about the indigenous people and showed us some archaeological remains as well as shared the importance of different native plants. The views from the island were gorgeous, and we took beautiful pics there. Of course, like other channel tours we were up close to the sea lions and birds on their respective islands. When we sailed around the lighthouse, the boat stopped so the guide could take your picture with the lighthouse in the background with your own camera. On the way back we were served coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies as well as a local liquor. During the ride the guide explained interesting information about the Tierra del Fuego and its history in both Spanish and English using large maps and photos as visuals. We even saw a two-day-old sea lion pup! This was a delightful morning and good value for the price! Would highly recommend this channel tour!!
