My partner and I only had 2 weeks to cram in the whole of BC. This totally ticked all the boxes. We got to see the highlights and some of the smaller, quieter tourist spots. Steph, our driver, was ace and the people travelling with us made it our most memorable trip so far. We went in August so the attractions were busy which is to be expected. The activities included were great and the hikes were incredible, with Steph as a personal tour guide. We got the accommodation package which was worth the money and totally hassle free. I would recommend Moose Bus to anyone, even if it's simply a day trip.

The South Okanagan and Similkameen is an outstanding birding location and is home to over 250 different species in a variety of habitats. Some of these species are found nowhere else in Canada. The region is ideally located to take advantage of a mix of northern boreal and mountain species, while being the only part of Canada with a southern Great Basin fauna in its dry valleys.
Inclusions: All Fees and Taxes
Exclusions: Private transportation, Binoculars and spotting scopes
We had a great day of birding with Eric! He is such a knowledgeable guide and gave us a grand tour of the top birding spots near Penticton. Although we had some rain and thundershowers we were able to see/hear over 80 species on our day. The Yellow-breasted Chat at our last stop was a highlight for the group. Eric took us to a spot where this elusive bird might be seen and sure enough we managed to spot it perched among the foliage, a tiny yellow dot in among the greenery. It stayed perched out in the open long enough for us to get several good pictures.

My wife and I spent a lovely week biking around the Naramata wine district. As part of our stay we eBiked the 80 km. from Myra Canyon to Penticton on the old KVR rail bed. Mike from HooDoo took us from Penticton to Myra Canyon. Along the way he was a terrific font of knowledge about the building and operation of the Railway. Made our trip much more enjoyable. Great service. The Myra Canyon section of the journey is probably the best, with 18 trestles to enjoy and amazing scenery. Road down to Chute Lake a bit sketchy but easily passable. Lunch at Chute Lake was wonderful, especially as we were a bit wet from the rain and needed to dry out. No reservations needed for lunch. Views on the ride in to Penticton are amazing. Highly recommend this bike ride.

Frank helped us organize a private wine tour along the Golden Mile, and was great to deal with. Our guide for the afternoon was Christian who promptly picked us up from our hotel in Oliver in a clean new tourist van. He was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and the Okanagan wine industry in particular. It was an excellent afternoon and we highly recommend Christian and Sagebrush Tours!
