We loved our Kyoto tour! Our guides Aki and Minako made it so special, the whole tour guide team even came on the call to sing Happy Birthday for my daughter. They also made a lovely personalised video for her birthday. The entire experience was so interesting and enjoyable. Definitely recommend!

This plan is recommended for those who want to enjoy the unique local cuisine of Osaka. Osaka has long been a major transportation hub and attracting foodstuffs from all over Japan. As a result of the development of a unique food culture that took advantage of the abundant ingredients, visitors to Osaka tend to overindulge, and the city became known as the ""City of Gourmets"". In this tour, you can experience the food culture of Osaka. You will taste the crispy, bite-sized Kushikatsu with sauce, and the crispy surface and soft interior of the takoyaki. The appeal of this tour is that you can enjoy other Osaka specialties such as Okonomiyaki and pork buns all at once.

The flexibility to chose locations that suited our wants and abilities was great. Hiro San was very quick to put together an itinerary that accommodated a family with a stroller-baby (no monkey park due to long unpacked walking paths). Taking in the beautiful temples and view of the Kyoto from the west was breath taking and the guide was able to explain many things we as new Japanese learners could not read or know through cultural knowledge. Overall a great experience, a wonderful and lively guide, and some great memories.

Yoshi was a great tour guide. He tells a lot of stories and takes you to your desired places and then some. We went to the National Gardens, stopped to say hi to Hachiko, and went to the Chiku Chiku Cafe. The Hedgehogs were so cute! They're usually nocturnal and the one I was visiting, Butter, was really tired and wanted to sleep so I only took a couple pictures and let him rest the rest of the time :) Take care Yoshi! Hope you have more fun adventures

Enjoy the best of Osaka's famous street food and hidden back alleys on this 3-hour Osaka Food Tour in the famous foodie neighborhood of Dotonbori & Namba! Experience an unforgettable stroll through the historical food streets of Osaka and eat like a local in the city known as “Japan’s Kitchen.” Your local expert will take you on an unforgettable eating excursion through the busy streets and the hidden, less frequented parts of South Osaka. The tour kicks off in the busy Dōtonbori area where we will learn about Glico man, a Filipino sprinter named Fortunato Catalon who inspired a nation and a company! Similar to Shibuya (its counterpart in Tokyo) the sights and sounds of Dōtonbori often lead you astray to overly-commercialised restaurants with queues of tourists outside. We want to take our guests to places they would certainly miss without local guidance. We will take secret alleys not long after we begin the tour toward the shrine hidden from sight for the average passerby.
Inclusions: Try local dishes at 4 food stops, 1 Drink, Traditional Japanese Dessert, Local English speaking guide
Exclusions: Hotel pick up not included (can be arranged for an additional charge), Gratuity, Transportation costs, Additional drinks or food (not included but possible to purchase at guest expense)

Big city Osaka is the largest city in western Japan. Another name for Osaka is the city of food and water, which is one of the 47 distinctive prefectures. The people who live here are very energetic and have many interesting people It is a town where many people live together because there are many noisy people. We are so glad we booked with Japan Wonder Travel. We spent 2 weeks in Japan and used them in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. We used a different company in Kanazawa which had great reviews BUT the Japan Wonder Travel guides were a step above. We will only use them next time we come to Japan. Originally we were going to meet the guide in Kyoto before travelling to Osaka but we decided to meet in Osaka instead. Unfortunately there was a problem on the trains and we got delayed, so ended up being 45 mins late for the tour. Thank-god for WhatsApp so we could keep the guide up to date. Naomi was amazing, despite starting almost 1 hour late she somehow managed to get us to all the sites. The only time we felt rushed was trying to get to Umeda sky tower before sunset and expected rain. We managed to arrive just in time. The tour covers all the main sites in Osaka. Naomi also made sure we stopped at the best food stalls in the market to make sure we got best of each delicacy. We also had an amazing lunch making our own Okonomiyaki which was so much fun. Naomi has only recently got back to work after a long time off with a major health issue and it was awe inspiring to see her throwing herself back into work with so much enthusiasm. She is an amazing person and so much fun. She has a great sense of humour and we spent the day laughing and joking. Don't hesitate and book this tour and huge thanks to Naomi and Japan Wonder Travel.

-Try Osaka's "must-eat" street food, Takoyaki- It's a small rounded ball snack made of wheat-flour based batter with a piece of octopus inside. This Takoyaki is originally from Osaka and that's why we want you to try the best one. -Have a taste of local favorite foods- This tour will be an excellent option for you if you would like to try different kinds of Japanese food in one place! The Kuromon Market has a history of more than 100 years and has more than 130 shops and stalls. -Find unique Japanese kitchenware and tableware souvenirs- We'll head to a street named Doguyasuji street. The street has contributed to "the Kitchen of the Nation" by offering various kitchenware, tableware and cooking equipment not only for individuals, but also for professionals. Magical Trip is a local tour operator with the TripAdvisor certificate of excellence that offers various types of small-group tours throughout Japan! I had an excellent time during my brief stay in Osaka. My tour guide, Kohei, was very friendly and accommodating. Coincidentally, the other members of the tour group were also Bay Area, California natives making the experience more intimate and enjoyable. We all enjoyed the best cuisine Osaka had to offer as well as the sights and sounds of Namba nightlife. I highly recommend it if you’re in town for a short time and open to adventurous dining.
