Due to the current covid situation, I had a private tour that day, which was awesome. Mathias was a great guide, has a lot of general Romanian knowledge along with historical. This made for great conversation on the way to and from the castles. I highly recommend the tour and would gladly do it again with friends and family in the future.

George is very knowledgeable and has obviously been to the places on this Transylvania trip. Customized our locations to maximize sights and touring for the time we had and where we wanted to see. Definitely a perfect trip that could have only used a couple tweaks. Watch windy roads if anyone gets car sick, let the driver know if there is anything specific your interested in and take lots of pictures, it will be a trip of a lifetime. Also, expect the guide to sometimes be rushed, we didn't expect to be kind of dropped off quite as much in some locations but we adapted to the area. Some of the best sights you will see and George is a very insightful and knowledgeable guide.

One of the castle is not even Dracula’s castle! They have just made it up for marketing reasons! This info is only shared after arriving and having spent 4 hours on the road and 80 eur/person . There are only photographs on the wall of the Dracula of the cinema! The guide was good over trying to sell the tour and the bukarest beauty that are non existing!

Our first private tour and we were delighted with the experience. The tour was fast-paced, which was fine for us - be ready at 8 am. We saw so much more than if we would have tried it on our own. We were lucky to have a friendly guide, Michael. He was knowledgeable and entertaining, with excellent driving skills. Our plan of visiting Romania during COVID-19 end well, and I hope to discover more in the next years.

Georgiana Highly recommended. From the start, Georgiana communicated closely to really understand and customise an itinerary to suit our likes, interests & schedule for our Brasov to Bucharest holiday. All guides were truly local to the area, which meant we got insights and introductions to local spots not listed in guide books. The flexibility to adapt the itinerary as we went along, impromptu stops (like the best home-made Gelato I’ve ever had, known only to locals), the passion for their craft, the love for their country and sharing not just local knowledge but also personal experiences, made the trip extra special. They kept in constant touch with us from the time we boarded the train in Budapest, Hungary and were greeted right at the platform in Brasov, Romania. It was just us and our guide, on walks and drives to all the various cities, towns and villages, savouring artisanal produce, meeting locals and sharing tales from Brasov to Maros, Sighişoara, Prejmer, Prahova, Bran Castle, Snagov to Bucharest. All experiences were skip the line. Days trips out of Bucharest also took us to places I never heard of and would never have thought to explore, like Fulga De Jos, Buzău, lunch at Ferme Dacilor, Ilfov, from a private tour of the Police Museum in Târgovişte to a private wine tasting then wine blending workshop with the chief winemaker at Budureasca. To think we fit all that in less than 2 weeks - Truly a memorable experience !

My boyfriend and I went on a search for the real Dracula with Ion. At first we didn’t know it was a personal tour and we didn’t know if we had to pack stuff to leave in a bus, car etc with other people. I was so excited to know it was a personal tour. No worries about leaving things behind in a vehicle while exploring. Ion was very informative and he was very knowledgeable about Romanian history. There were a few stops and we ate a lunch next to the Poenari castle. I was a bit worried about the 1400 steps at the castle since I have problems with asthma and the cold(it was December). But there was no rush on how fast we trekked up the stairs. He didn’t even seem to mind that I had Dante my plushie with me!
