The flexibility to chose locations that suited our wants and abilities was great. Hiro San was very quick to put together an itinerary that accommodated a family with a stroller-baby (no monkey park due to long unpacked walking paths). Taking in the beautiful temples and view of the Kyoto from the west was breath taking and the guide was able to explain many things we as new Japanese learners could not read or know through cultural knowledge. Overall a great experience, a wonderful and lively guide, and some great memories.

I strongly recommend this experience. Mina and Nana made shopping and cooking both fun and educational. Their preparations meant that we could make a crazy amount of food in a relatively short amount of time, and they provided the background that would allow me to do those portions on my own in the future. Signed up for the 3:30 PM "middle" tour. Would have been cool to do the evening tour to see the city lit up at night, but we had dinner plans. The "danger" with the mid-afternoon tour is that if it were hot/humid/sunny, it'd be pretty miserable in the costume. That being said, we had overcast skies with comfortable temps, so we both costumed up in Donald and Daisy Duck like costumes. Obtained our driver's license thru AAA in the US. (Just be sure to bring it! - we left ours in our hotel safe and forgot and had to hustle back to the hotel) Quick video and model tutorial then hands on tutorial with the cart. We felt safe the entire time. No need to take pictures as both guides take videos and photos throughout and post them later. Even stopped at Dotonburi to get out of the cart and take pictures at the sign. Even though these tours are daily they still turn heads from on-lookers/pedestrians.

The package is cheap and the entry is free for submarine and aquarium. Audio guide will also be provided with 8 different languages. We enjoyed the trip and happy to do more tour in the future.

We hired a private transfer from the Narita airport to Tokyo. Kevin really understood well our requests and gave us great advice on our trip, especially during these difficult times. Our van was nice and spacious. The driver was great as well. There was some confusion on the location of our hotel (mainly because of Google Maps giving the hotel a different name) but it was sorted out quickly. When we accidentally left one of our bags in the van, the driver returned it on the same day safe and sound. I highly recommend their service.
