Discover the seaside village of Elounda and walk amongst history on the island of Spinalonga. Finishing our touring on this much afflicted place, we head for the small bay of Kolokitha. It’s one of the most beautiful beaches on Crete. It is a remote beach with white sand and deep blue serene water, side by side with old olive groves. There we can swim and taste the delicious BBQ served on the boat. After our short respite, we go back to Elounda. Then we move to the picturesque town of Agios Nikolaos, where we have our last stop. We have the chance to enjoy our coffee getting a perfect view of the magnificent lake, do our shopping in the traditional local shops and relax for a while before we hit the road for our going back.
Inclusions: Professional guide, Air-conditioned vehicle, ▪︎ Hotel pick-up in Malia,Stalis,Hersonisos,Anisaras,Gouves,Heraklion,Ammoudara,Ag Pelagia,Fodele

A really nice experience, well organised and planned. Ingrid was super helpful amd gave us a lot of good information on the way. The trip took us through some traditional Cretan villages and as a nice bonus, we also stopped at the cave of Agia Sofia on the way back - good stop for those with an interest in local myths and good views! The beach itself was beautiful, there was ample time to spend - at least 4 hours. Also, as a side note: the tour company was very quick to answer my questions amd reassure my concerns. Thank you, guys, for a really nice experience in Crete!

Had a fantastic afternoon with Alex whirling around Heraklion on our eco bike history tour with my 13 year old son! Alex is the most personable tour guide - nothing is too much trouble - you will see parts of Heraklion you wouldn’t see on foot. Our afternoon in Heraklion will be remembered for many years to come which included a visit to a lovely local park and the Cathedral. A great way to support a fantastic, local business. Don’t miss this, worth every Euro. Go Alex, you are fantastic and we thank you for your time, knowledge and wonderful hospitality ending with the last stop of the day - scrumptious refreshments in a local taverna.

Want to spend an unforgettable day away from the hustle and bustle of cities, in complete relaxation of the soul and body? Take a break of your busy life to the most unusual place in Crete! The island of Chrissi is protected by the state as one of the last "heavenly places" on earth. The unique reserve got its name because of the golden sand that covers the whole island and is formed from fragments of small shells. A lot of visitors come to the island because of the exceptional natural beauty. The island is uninhabited and there is only one tavern on the island where you can have lunch. Enjoy azure crystal clear water and fabulous beaches, check out traces of the Minoan settlement and St.Nicholas church, find a wonderful view of the small island of Micronisi and take your mask to try snorkelling in this great location. Moving by bus up to 2,5 hours, boat ride - 60 minutes each way from Ierapetra town.
Inclusions: Pick-up from your hotel (at the specific tourist bus stop, outside of the hotel), Transfer with air-conditioned bus, Certified tour-guide

We rented a car from that agency. The guy at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The price for the car was fair, so there is nothing to complain at all. Everything was smooth and easy. If you stay in that area, I recommend to rent the car or book a trip with Status MLB.

Start with a coffee under the, centuries-old, plane trees at the picturesque village of Spili. Then, driving through the Kourtaliotiko gorge you can enjoy the incredible view, get a close look of the waterfall and even dip your feet in the cool water. Next is the Preveli Monastery which dates back to the 10th century. The monastery is associated with the struggles for Crete’s independence and, more recently, the WWII when the allies used it as a gateway to the Middle East. If you are in a mood for a swim, the next stop is definitely the village of Plakias. Next are the cities of Rethimno and Hania which both have an intriguing mixture of Venetian and Ottoman architecture and buildings with well-preserved elements of that.

This is my favorite tour in Crete because you get to see the real Crete, the monasteries, ( optional ) the old villages, Zeus Cave where the king of all the Greek gods was born. His mother gave birth there to hide from his father Kronos. We will see the old traditional windmills and the amazing views from an altitude of around 1000 m above sea level . Then it's off to Lasithi plateau, the biggest one in Crete . Driving through the old villages on the Lasithi plateau you feel that you are traveling back in time, like time stopped long ago.We can visit an olive oil factory ( optional ) where we learn about how olives are picked and how olive oil is made now and how they used to do it in the olden days . ( Flexible pick up from your hotel in Heraklion area ). ACACIA TOUR MHTE1039e60000115201

We booked last minute and then had to change last minute and Eddie did not miss a beat! What a fun day learning history and refreshing our Greek mythology! We enjoyed hearing from Eddie about the history, meeting locals at the Olive Oil factory, Zeus Cave, A lesson in ceramics and a fabulous lunch. And I would be remiss If I didn’t mention the fun we had shaking walnut trees and learning about the history of windmills! Eddie kept us rolling all day long!!
