Rafael was highly knowledgeable and a true expert! He was even teaching other tour guides on the trail. Very professional and a true bespoke experience. I would not have done this on my own, or even with a group with more than 6 people. We had some beginners in our group and having Rafael in the group gave them confidence in traversing some of the more difficult terrain.

My girlfriend and I booked this kayaking tour because I had done it in the past and really enjoyed it and wanted her to experience it. Our group leaders were Kenny, Jesse, and Paola and they were great. They informed us of everything we were going to experience before we experienced it to make sure we knew what we were getting into. We first gathered together to get a kayaking 101 lesson. Then our kayaking adventure started off in the ocean until we reached a canal that lead to the lagoon. Make sure to wear bug spray because the mosquitoes are really bad in the canal! Exiting the canal into the lagoon is a beautiful view. We had a few minutes to explore the lagoon and then gathered together to see the bioluminescent organisms. Such a cool experience! The water is sooo warm and you can clearly see the organisms glowing around your hands. The ride back is a bit scary because it is so dark in the canal; however, our kayaks had lights behind them so that we could at least see the direction we were headed. We both would do this trip again because we just enjoyed it so much. We would definitely recommend it. The only thing that is a problem is parking. If you are driving in yourself, it is pretty difficult to find a spot because it is so crowded. It took us about 10-15 minutes to find one so we'd recommend getting there early to avoid running late.

This excursion was a joke honestly. You kayak through a dark Water channel where you get eaten up by mosquitos and tangled with other kayakers because it’s so busy, to a big ass lagoon. You get with your group and they have you link all the kayaks in a row. When we asked where the glow is she took out a tarp and said we have to go under the tarp to see the glow. So here we are 6 canoes long under this big tarp, having to splash the water to barely see a little glow. Not at all what they advertise. Was a waste of time and money unless you enjoy kayaking and getting attacked by mosquitoes.

Excellent! Jonathan was an awesome guide & helped me so much to protect my back (medical condition). It’s not an easy hike, but it’s doable and well worth it. Great hike close to San Juan, but in the middle of the forest and with a wonderful view. See pics & videos online. I didn’t take much.
