We traveled with Andres on this tour for two days. Such a beauty of nature starting with exhibition Lava centre in small town, we continue to several waterfalls and much more. Just to make it shorter, day later we visited glacier, glacial lagoon, diamond beach and else. Andres was very knowledgeable, he was willing to stop on some special spots so it was really private tour.

BJ gave us an excellent tour of the Rekjanes peninsula showing us sights we had not seen before. He was very informative and had a great deal of knowledge of the area. While the weather wasn't ideal being from Minnesota we are use to it we forged ahead seeing many great sight in ways many people rarely see. This gave us many great photos. Highly recommend BJ and BTH travel.

Thank you Helga for such a fun experience! We had our Blue Lagoon and Reykjavik tour in March of 2019 and we still think about how amazing the experience was. Helga was very knowledgeable and drove us around telling us about the city. She also brought us to the Blue Lagoon and dropped us back off. It was easy, convenient and affordable. We would do every tour with her if we could! We can’t wait until we can come back to Iceland !!!

Offering a wealth of information, the Settlement Center provides a wonderful insight into Iceland’s history. It also gives you the chance to put your visit into the context of the country’s past. The exhibitions recreate the fascinating drama of the sagas and the birth of this island nation. They also bring to life one of Iceland’s most important cultural treasures, Egils Saga. The exhibitions at the Settlement Center tell the story of the first settlers and the story of Iceland’s most important saga – Egils Saga. Egill Skalla-Grimson was a famous Viking and poet and his father and was one of the first settlers and his family settled at Borg near Borgarnes. The goal is to make the ancient sagas accessible to all ages. Multi-media and theatrical techniques are employed to help the visitor experience first hand the excitement of setting off over the open ocean for lands unknown. The audio guided storytelling programs are available in 15 languages.
