Enjoy a seasonal Chilean meal in rural Pucón with your host Carolina and her family. This is a perfect experience for anyone looking to connect with local culture over food. Carolina is originally from Temuco in Southern Chile, where she was raised among the plants, fruits and vegetables her family cultivated in their enormous garden. Carolina inherited her love of cooking from the women in her family. After successful, fast-paced careers in London, Carolina (a journalist) and her husband Alain (a financial engineer from France) decided to move to Pucón to open their B&B. Their property includes a beautiful garden, bee hives, play areas for their children, a pool, and a stunning view of Villarrica, a beautiful active volcano. Carolina grows many of the fruits and vegetables you will enjoy on her property, so her cooking is fresh, organic and seasonal. Carolina and Alain love to share their lives with their guests, so relax and enjoy the pleasures of a home-style meal at their table.

Inclusions: Private organic meal with your host Carolina, Beverages, All taxes, fees and handling charges, Gratuities, Lunch, Dinner, Alcoholic Beverages

I got to spend 5 amazing nights and days with Rancho Carhuello. Carmen and Luis are super friendly, accommodating and they work tirelessly to ensure you have the best time. Our guides on the tour were Luis and Judy. It's incredible Luis's knowledge and orientation skills in the often densely covered forest trails. And Judy never stops smiling a contagious smile and working hard for you. You can tell everyone at Rancho Carhuello is there because of their passion for horses. Don't hesitate to book a trip with them. You'll regret not doing so!

Our half-day ride was a lovely way to see Pucon's gorgeous scenery. Carmen easily differentiated the riding experience for my friend and I who have varied levels of horse experience and comfort; she perfectly matched the horses with our personalities. The 3.5 hour tour took us along a river, through cool, shady wooded area and provided stunning views of the volcanoes. Carmen's passion for her horses and ranch shine through 100%. Highly recommended!

It was a really good experience, more than I expected. There was like 4 hours of ascent, the view was amazing. As we were higher the view was even better. In term of difficulty it wasn’t as difficult as I thought. The guide and the team were worry that everybody were enjoying the experience, stopping if it was need it or going slower if someone was tired. They also provided a very complete and good equipment. When we arrive to the top they prepared to us a picnic, whith an amazing view to the volcano and to the lake. It was December 31st, so they also brought New Year cotillon. To go downhill we slidding with part of out equipment like a trineo, we have a lot of fun. I strongly recommend this experience! Was amazing.

From start to finish, this was a great adventure. Our guides, Francisco and Felipe, picked us up at our apartment. Both were respectful, knowledgeable and pleasant to spend the day. After a rigorous hike that opened into expansive 360 degree views of towering volcanos, we enjoyed soaking in amazing hot springs for several hours. Our guides were flexible and made various suggestions that helped us get the most from this day long excursion. There is food and drink for purchase at the hot springs but be sure to pack snacks and water for the hike. I recommend this for folks ready for a hiking challenge and who appreciate natural wonders of hot springs, mature foliage and crystal clear waterfalls. Memorable day!

I’ve just completed the Rio Blanco 4 day trail ride through the National Park Huerquehue best Pucon. Right from my first contact with Mathias I knew that he was offering a very special riding experience. Everything was exactly as described on his website but it was all the extra attention to details and extras that added to the experience. The warmth of the reception by Mathias’s family and staff, the standard of the accommodation and equipment, the care given in the planning and execution of the ride, and the constant concern for the well being of the horses and riders was evident throughout the ride. The pre half-day ride led by our longer trek guide ensured each rider was a suitable match for their horse, a good introduction to Chilean riding and certainly for me eliminated any pre ride nerves. Over the next four days we enjoyed the ever changing beautiful landscapes under the friendly and attentive care of our guide Livia and arriero Miguel. The sure footedness and honesty of the Criollo horses ability to manage the terrain means you can enjoy the views and truly relax. One of many highlights had to be finishing a long day’s ride and relaxing in the thermal baths. It was a fabulous 5 days and a wonderful way to experience the spectacular landscape Chile has on offer. Thank you again to all those at Antilco who made it happen.
