We give a briefing to discuss underwater safety, go through the equipment that you will use during your dive, and learn hand signals to communicate with your guide underwater. No prior experience with SCUBA diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health. Please check out the PADI Medical Declaration and if you select yes to any of the options please visit your local doctor/physician prior to your arrival at to our Dive Centre to be cleared medically for SCUBA diving activities.

With regards to the differences between boat and shore diving, we would highly recommend shore diving for your course experience. With shore diving, we have greater flexibility to complete skills at your own pace (the boat tour is a fixed time period), and the gradual descent on the shore dives versus the deep water entry for the boat dives allows more inexperienced divers to feel comfortable and adjust to the experience at a more relaxed pace.
