We had such a fantastic day touring the Douro Valley and surrounding areas. Pedro was a brilliant guide - such good company, and made sure my wife and I had a brilliant trip. The choice of vineyards was excellent (Joana's in the Vinho Verde region was our favourite) and lunch was delicious. Would absolutely recommend this tour! We set off towards Amarante and its traditional streets where we breathe in History and Heritage. The trip continues onto Régua, with a quick stop at an observation point in Mesão Frio. It was from Peso da Régua that, in past centuries, the typical Rabelo boats transported the barrels of wine to Vila Nova de Gaia. And this story can be witnessed in the Douro House, with its stained glass where you can see portrayed the history of the Douro Demarcated Wine Region. The Railway Station, where the first train arrived in 1879, is a must-visit. We leave for Pinhão and, once there, we suggest a walk along the river bank, a quick visit to the train station, with its typical tiles, and then on to an estate and Port wine tasting in 'Quinta do Tedo'.

Wow! We couldn’t have picked a better tour of the Douro. Our driver Sergio is obviously doing what he was meant to do - from the moment we met, he was friendly, engaging, funny, knowledgeable, and tireless in his efforts to make our day memorable. Cannot recommendation this tour enough. The two wineries we visited were well-chosen, the scenery was breathtaking, lunch was a feast, and Sergio was the best. 5 stars!

Ruben was a great guide. He picked us up at the Lisbon airport and took us on a 4 hour tour of Sintra and Castle of the Moors. Hugo was easy to work with and responds quickly on email. Would recommend this tour and company.

Douro Valley is often very expensive for the majority of the people, and usually because you always have everything included, and sometimes, things you don’t really want/need.. In this experience I want you to have the chance to visit he very best of Douro Valley but with the chance to add/reduce things according to your interests/wallet. First stop will be in the most amazing view point in Douro Valley and then we will drive through the vineyeards until Régua for a very typical lunch (optional, 15 euro/pax) After lunch we will have a 3 wine tasting in one of the most beautiful wine cellars in Douro Valley just by Douro River. After the wine tasting we will drive to Pinhão in one of the most beautiful roads in the world always close to the scenic view of Douro river surrounded for the vineyards. Once in Pinhão you will have the chance to do 1 hour cruise in the typical boats that where bringing the wine from Douro Valley to Porto city (optional, 10Euro/pax)

Had a great time! Miguel is a very animated and fun guide, sharing lots of fun stories and such along the way. The park itself is very impressive.. majestic, scenic views. There's also a quaint village (where u start your hike). There you will also find a small bar and restrooms; so you can have a coffee and buy some food/drinks before setting off. It was very, very hot on our day; nevertheless, I think most people who are more or less active (and wearing appropriate clothing/shoes) will manage fine on this hike. Swimming in the lagunes is lovely; could have stayed all day, if it were up to me. There are other people there as well (mostly Portuguese locals actually), but because you get there relatively early in the day, you'll be able to find a good spot for your towel. Our group had a great click as well, and we made plans to meet up the following days as well. Definitely recommended!

This was one of the best tours me and my wife have ever taken during our travels around the world. Sandro was an excellent guide for the most comfortable trip to the Douro valley! We enjoyed our stay at a small family owned Quinta as well as the visit to a more commercial one with amazing views - as well as a much appreciated break in Pinhaõ. Sandro was very caring and shared a lot of stories about live in Portugal. Warmly recommended!

Was able to have a custom experience seeing the Duoro Valley, in a nice Mercedes ride through the valley and to the vineyards. I put some thoughts together and Ricardo was able to make it happen at a reasonable rate. Would do this again in a heartbeat, very fun trip.

My friend and I had a 1.5hr walking tour in the city centre with João, and it was absolutely fantastic. We have so much more of an appreciation for the beautiful town of Amarante thanks to João's expertise and pure interest in the history of his city. We learned a lot and had a great time.
