Top 10 Things to do in Zaryadye, Central Russia

February 26, 2022 Margarita Chappel

The political, scientific, historical, architectural and business center of Russia, Moscow displays the country's contrasts at their most extreme. The ancient and modern are juxtaposed side by side in this city of 10 million. Catch a metro from one of the ornate stations to see Red Square, the Kremlin, the nine domes of St. Basil's Cathedral, Lenin's Mausoleum, the KGB Museum and other symbols of Moscow's great and terrible past, then lighten up and shop Boulevard Ring or people watch in Pushkin Square.

Small but very interesting museum, where you can see the old rich boyard’s way of living. A good option if you don’t want to stay in a queue at the Red Square.

Would recommend for the views of the city and the nice walk through the surrounding park. This is all close to red square and serves as a nice addition to a visit to the area.

Walking in central Moscow on a winter day? Don't miss this place. It's not big, but the impression is the highest - feel the history, climb the high narrow stares, and it's warm and friendly, even the security personnel. it's one of the oldest buildings in Moscow, so feel the spice of the centuries. Must go.
