Visited the vineyard seven years ago and wanted to go back on a recent trip. Completely redone since our last time there and now has a great tasting room and deck overlooking the vineyard. Jose was a great host. Looking forward to my shipment arriving later in the month. If you go by, tell Jose the guy from Alabama sent you and buy a couple of bottles of wine.

We had a wonderful visit here with Audrey our tour guide. We were served 4 different wines which were paired with 4 different wines. It was amazing. The first wine was a dry rose paired with a salmon tartar. Both the wine and appetizer were...MoreHello Stelly, Thank you for the positive comments about your visit to B Cellars. Far Niente wines offer some of the finest selections - and their vineyard will not disappoint! The scenery is breathtaking; the wine tasting exquisite; reservations are a must and this avoids any over crowding within the vineyard tour and tasting experience. Our guide, Jessica, was knowledgeable and wonderfully helpful with insight and information sharing. The tasting moment took place in a private room thus allowing for conversation and bonding of new friends. Be sure to add Far Niente to your activity list - you won't be sorry!

In the town of Yountville.
We did three winery visits on our Green Hills wine tour, this was our last for the day. Grant who conducted our tasting was friendly, informative and obviously a wine enthusiast. The wines were good value and we bought the cabernet and chardonnay. The cheese, cracker and nut side plate was appreciated. This is worth a visit.

We pride ourselves on making one varietal that is food-friendly and deliciously drinkable upon release. Our story begins in the early 1970's when Ray Duncan befriended winegrower Justin Meyer. The two formed a partnership and co-founded Silver Oak Cellars in 1972 with the bold vision of producing only Cabernet Sauvignon. Come experience the Silver Oak Cellars Napa Valley winery in Oakville, CA to enjoy exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon wine tasting tours.
I'd been introduced to this wine this past August and looked forward to visiting the winery. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Both a couple bottles of wine during our visit.

Established in 1991, Bell Wine Cellars is a small, family owned winery committed to hand-crafting limited edition bottling of extraordinary wines. We're less than a mile south of Yountville on Washington Street, in an exquisite pale stone winery, surrounded by vineyard and cloaked in quiet. If you enjoy Cabernet, you'll enjoy Bell. We make six different Cabernets as well as Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah; total production is under 15,000 cases annually. Nestled between the towering stainless steel tanks, guests can taste our signature wines at the intimate, elegant Tasting Bar. We also host more extensive educational tastings in our lovely, enclosed Reserve Room overlooking the barrels. During much of the year, our spacious Patio is also open for tasting appointments, under the arbor as the sun slowly arcs toward the Mayacamas to the west.Come visit and taste what Anthony Bell, a globally educated winemaker with over 35 years of experience in Napa, can produce. We guarantee you'll leave speaking Cabernet fluently, and with a smile.
We booked a winery tour and tasting at Bell's Winery and Cellars for our trip.
When arrived our guide John was waiting outside for us and he made us feel like VIP's from the moment we set foot on the property. This experience was so much better than we thought it would be!
1. John was passionate, knowledgeable, and extremely personable. We felt like friends by the end of the trip!
2. The vibe of the winery was great, it puts you at ease and it's such a comfortable, tranquil, and welcoming place. It was really cool to see the different clones (like Clone 6), the barrels, and where the magic happens!
3. The wine was the best we had while visiting Napa and Yountville. Their Sauvignon Blanc was light, refreshing, buttery, and the best we had the whole trip. The Cabernet Sauvignon was out of this world!
4. Lastly, it was great learning about the history of Mr.Bell, I think it helped you make a connection with the vineyard, we couldn't wait to get home and watch decanted (They are one of the wineries on it)
Highly recommend the experience and John is the best! Make it one of your stops while in Yountville

You must be of legal drinking age to engage with us. Please enjoy responsibly. Domaine Chandon was the first winery to be established in the United States by a French wine and spirits producer, Moet Hennessy. Today, Chandon is America's leading sparkling wine producer, applying methode traditionnelle techniques to showcase the ripe fruit and vibrant character of California. We host educational and fun tours of our winery and offer light food options in our tasting room or on our extensive terrace.
Ok having visited Moët in France I wasn’t expecting Chandon in Napa to be on the same level but this vineyard is looking tired and the open space at the tasting area lacked any furniture and was noisy. They appear to have stopped doing tours and I read there used to be a good restaurant here too. Seems a shame. Redeeming feature was the large sample sizes we were poured, and as one of us was driving, $20 for a basic tasting we could share was a bargain in comparison.

Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley offers a unique lifestyle experience in wine country. Originally built in 1904 as a private residence, the manor is one of three stone buildings in Yountville, and one of only two listed on the National Register of Historic Places. As an art, design and wine gallery set amidst a contemporary, landscaped sculpture garden, Ma(i)sonry offers guests a respite and a retreat. Guests have a variety of choices for their wine tasting setting. They can enjoy the intimacy of one of our three private tasting rooms, lounge in either of the great rooms, or gather outdoors at individual and communal tables, around the fire pit, or while stretched out on a blanket on the lawn. The outdoor gardens are beautifully landscaped around architectural remnants and contemporary sculpture and are available for our clients to relax and enjoy a bite or a bottle of wine on their own before or after their tasting.
This a lovely place in Yountville with a gorgeous art collection in a pretty setting. I stopped in to purchase a bottle of wine as a gift and the sommelier was so nice, helpful and down to earth. My experience on the wine front was very positive.
However, I also wanted to look at the art and possibly purchase a piece but the art curator, Marissa, was incredibly obtrusive, annoying and overbearing. If I had time to really browse and think about things and consider items in my own, there was one piece I probably would have purchased. I encountered the same type of pushy behavior in their St Helena gallery and their other gallery in Yountville, both named Aerena.

We are by appointment only. Please go to our website to inquire about our experiences. We do not take phone reservations. The cost is $55.00 per person. We regretfully are not permitted to have anyone under 21 years of age nor allow any pets on the premises. Our award winning wines come from our 40 acres in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. From grape growing to bottling, the entire winemaking process is managed at the estate. The vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. Our wines are sought after by collectors and have received many awards, including a recent 98 point score for our 2013 Unrestrained Reserve Bordeaux Blend.
This boutique winery is within the Oak Knoll region. The fruit is all from the estate, and since they take the designation seriously, the growing, crushing, fermenting, barrelling and bottling all is done on the estate. This means, you get to see the bottling machine in the tasting room, a rare opportunity in the large wineries that outsource this particular function. The winery cat and dog each came by for a visit, with the cat super friendly! The wines are very well made, balanced and structured, with a lower price point than other wineries of a similar size. The pours were generous, and the instructions that accompanied them were most informative. Of course, it is always who you have as a tasting guide! Overall, this was a great stop. One additional caveat: They allowed me, as a Veteran of the U.S. Navy to taste free! That was nice.

Love rock and roll? Then this is a must go-to if you are visiting Napa. We took a bike tour and this was one of our stops. We pedaled up and heard AC/DC music coming from the patio. Oh yeah! FUN! Beautiful patio. and great...MoreLaurie, Thank you so much for the kind review! We hope to see you soon pedaling in and rocking out to AC/DC while enjoying our wines on the patio!
