Hancock-Clarke House is closed for the season. It will re-open for tours in April 2018. The home of Lexington's first two ministers and the location where John Hancock and Sam Adams were staying on April 18, 1775. Paul Revere stopped here on his famous "Midnight Ride" to warn Hancock and Adams that British troops had left Boston.
I went years ago and then again recently. IT is MUCH better now, both exteriir and interior re done to reflect the time of the Revolution. THe docent was super and had LOTS of interesting tidbits to share... really made the history come alive.

The Griffin Museum is across the Aberjona River from the High School in the center of Winchester. Access is best from the downtown rotary along Shore Road which is one way. It is a beautifully designed single floor exhibit area showing a variety of photographic works which change every month or so. So check the web site to see whats on. Interestingly the Museum also houses the Winchester Chess Club which meets on Friday evenings and so members get to see the exhibits for the price of their Chess Club membership. There is parking outside the Museum and it is also only a short walk from Winchester Train Station and also the 134 bus stop.

We drove over 4 hours to watch F8 here. This place is everything you hope it will be and more. There are only 8 Imax theaters in the world and it was like being there the entire time. The online ticket experience was simple and the concessions were probably the most reasonable prices we have seen in a long time. It was nice to pay a reasonable price for a change. We got there early and had our pick of seats. Parking is ample and there is plenty to do before or after the movie. We can't wait to do another movie here soon!

In New England there are very few warm, dry, safe, clean, educational and fun places to bring young children to on a typical fall, winter, or spring day. Even in recent summers, New England weather and the abnormal amounts of rainfall have deprived children of suitable places to play. VinKari Safari is an innovative children's indoor playground that was designed and developed to meet the needs of the community and to exceed the expectations of both children and their parents. As parents, we were frustrated by venues that were not open to the general public in all four seasons for dropping in to play and by play places that we felt were too small for our children to exert a healthy amount of energy. The few play spaces that were available allowed teenagers to mingle with our toddlers, weren't clean, or lost our child's attention too quickly. Additionally, when it came to hosting birthday parties or other celebrations, New England weather simply could not be relied on. Furthermore, having dozens of children and parents at our home felt hectic and we hardly enjoyed the event worrying about the needs of all of our guests. By the end of our special day we didn't have many pictures, we missed many of the laughs and opportunities to connect with long time friends and family we had not seen recently, and we were left with the daunting duty of cleaning up the party. VinKari Safari is family owned and operated. We are grateful parents, first and foremost, with backgrounds in child care, psychology, and corporate catering events. We are mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, and we are grandmothers and grandfathers as well. We have an ethnically diverse cultural heritage with a profound understanding of special needs too. Most importantly, we are your hosts and we, along with our children, Vincent and Karina, invite you to come play and have a wicked wild fun time at our safari themed children's indoor playground.

A large farmer's market with an excellent variety of fruits and vegetables plus plants, and other foodstuff. Huge selection, fruit is screened as it is being put on display, prices fairly reasonable, and they were setting up an elaborate Halloween straw maze for kids as of 10/25/17. Worth a visit if nearby.

Our wait staff was extremely attentive and made sure that everyone had what they needed at all times. Each and every person that I interacted with had a positive attitude and was happy to help me with anything I could possibly need. We'll definitely come back!

This isn’t your average outing or everyday experience—Breakout is for those who would rather solve mysteries than watch someone else have all the fun. With different rooms that follow unique story-lines, you and your friends will have 60 minutes to escape your adventure of choice by cracking codes, solving puzzles and following clues. Part problem solving, part adrenaline, end-to-end fun!
We did two different themes back/to/back with a Groupon so the games were priced well. We had fun, escaped both rooms (a group of 6). The business name Breakout Games - Boston and associated marketing is very misleading -- the business is not actually located...MoreThank you for the review! We're glad you enjoyed your escape room experiences with us! We are sorry about the confusion, though! We hope to see you back again!

Site of the first battle between the Minutemen and the Redcoats during the Revolutionary War.
Start with the statue of Captain John Parker and find a local guide usually dressed in late 18th Century garb to walk you around. Leave them a tip afterwards. Visit the cemetery in back of the church where Captain Parker and one British soldier are buried. Also see the Buckman Tavern and Hancock-Clarke House which are both close by within easy walking distance and can be covered by one combo ticket that also includes the Munroe Tavern. The Visitor Center has restrooms and a good diorama of the original battlefield. Free parking may be found along the green and the two hour limit is usually not inforced.
