The Gilson is a hidden gem! Many people don't realize that you can be served food and drinks while watching currently released movies. It is not fancy food but simple. A great night out. Also recommend the sweet Mexican restaurant Pedro's attached to the theatre for a margarita before or afterwards!

This place is awesome! This is my second time back and I'll keep returning! The thought and effort put into these rooms is incredible. I Have now done , "gold digger" and "Lenny hawkins sold his soul to play the blues." Two completely different rooms both very challenging and so much fun. It gets you thinking and laughing. Great activity for school, work, date nights!

We visited Riverton during our recent trip to Connecticut and thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Greenwood Glass Blowing Gallery. Peter Greenwood couldn't have been more friendly and my wife enjoyed making her own glass paperweight. To add to the experience, the studio is located in a nearly 200 year old New England church. I highly recommend a visit to Riverton if you are in the area.

Have been here numerous times to view many shows.
This is a small intimate venue with no outlandish lighting or high powered sound.
Just a very relaxing venue with basic but effective effects.
Venue brings in many big name acts that no longer play the larger concert venue but opt for a smaller up close and personal venue.Highly recommend that one should check out this hidden gem.Enjoy the Bistro before the show.

Very nice Winery with a good selection of wines, we are on the Connecticut trail and we make sure that we stop here a few times a year. Try the sanguria they only make it in small batches you may have to ask if they have it.

We have visited this water control project many times over the years. It's always a pleasant place to park, get out of your vehicle and enjoy the views on either side of Rt. 219. It's peaceful, quiet and there are plenty of walking opportunities along the trails.

... which I do. My 22-year-old son (who counts as a 15-year-old) actually found a few things interesting here too. The compact museum is primarily interpretive signs, giving the factual background and significance of key tort cases. Perhaps the centerpiece exhibit is a Corvair, the product at the center of Ralph Nader's claim to tort law prominence. The exhibits are clear, concise and informative. The museum can be toured in 45 minutes.

Stayed two nights with my boys (10&12). Rented a cabin site in the State Park Campground and Hiked surrounding parks in the area. Nice trails, much to see. Catch and release trout/ fly fishing area. BRING BARBLESS HOOKS.
The state website and other reviews won't tell you the following:
Cabins are two rooms. First room has table and chairs and a king sized bed with a thin plastic mattress. Second room has two narrow bunk beds with same type of mattresses. The mattresses are stiff but sleep able and the cabins are worth the money. Cabins have electricity. Cell coverage is almost non existent.
This was a great place to camp. Showers and bathrooms where clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Cooking is only outside. Picnic table and fire pit provided. Ice ($2 a bag) and fire wood ($5) is for sale at the camp office. Plenty of fire wood around the campsite to pick up.

Not sure I'd risk it with little kids, but 4 teens and 2 solidly-middle-agers managed with only some minor tushie bruises from hidden rocks. We didn't, but several people young and old did get flipped and separated from their tubes...water cool but tame in august so very manageable. Fun day for all!
