A wonderful experience of fantastic food and wine pairings in a beautiful setting. Three friends enjoyed a delightful experience on a Sunday afternoon, within days of the winery opening after being closed due to nearby fires. Fortunately there was no damage to the facility or it's beautiful gardens and vineyards! The staff was very attentive and welcoming. The farm to table food truly amazing and paired very well with a their many wonderful wines! Well worth the visit. One friend joined the Kendall-Jackson wine club and our wonderful tastings were comped plus free shipping on the case of wine we collectively purchased! Terrific experience and worth the cost of the tasting/food pairing!

Family visit on the safari! Nice to see animals not all caged up, they are out free. Giraffes came up to the jeep, very cool! Will have to go back and spend the night in one of the tents.

Sonoma - Cutrer Vineyards Inc

One of the iconic Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Vineyards and wineries in the Russian River Valley. Founded in 1973 and opened to the public in 2010.

We were on a wine tasting trip to the Sonoma/Napa wine country in California and one of our stops was at the Sonoma-Cutrer winery in Fulton, CA in Sonoma County. This is a beautiful winery and vineyard with a great view of the surrounding hills and valleys and a great patio to sit on and taste their wines. There is also a close up view of their croquet courts from the patio which look like beautifully maintained lawns. There was a pro team (who knew there was such a thing) practicing while we were there. This winery specializes in chardonnay and pinot noir and the ones we tasted were great. We ended up shipping 3 bottles of each back home. The tasting cost us nothing as we had tasting coupons from a web site called www.winecountrytoday. We visited over 30 wineries the 7 days we were in the area and this one was one of the top 5 for its wine and the scenery.

My husband and I had such a nice time at Sapphire Hill's pick up party yesterday. We brought another couple and were treated like royalty. We've been members for about 5 years and were happy to meet (in addition to seeing the same employees we've gotten to know over the years) a couple of new ones, so the winery is growing. Check it out, you will enjoy the wine and any food served is always yummy. Thank you, Lisa!

When we made our tasting appointment , we knew we were visiting a small winery with a simple tasting room and pleasant patio area. We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely confirmation letter which was very welcoming, listed the several wines we would try and encourage us to bring some snacks to enjoy with the wines on the patio overlooking the vineyard.
Our host, Cyndee, could not have been more welcoming and enjoyable. We tried a range of wines from a sparking cuvee , sauv. blanc , some chards and pinot niors ending with a zin. All were very nice.
Overall a very enjoyable, casual afternoon experience and a pleasant surprise.

Watch the YouTube video on this winery before you go to get some background so you can appreciate just how old the winery is and just far back this family goes in good wines. Their wine is very good, the tasting room very homey and the staff really friendly. This is one of the wineries that started it all, so it must be seen...

We were driving first time in the area and randomly came across this gem. We arrived with no reservation but graciously accommodated us by offering a modified wine tasting experience on the patio. This was perfect considering the beautiful views and great wines. They provided top notch service and we became members as a result. Looking forward to our next visit!
