My mother-in-law and I went here and picked cherries. It was easy peasy and we had a good time. The Rennie's staff is very knowledgeable about the cherries and it can be a fun activity.

Jet skis, snowmobiles and other noisy vehicles are prohibited in the 2,775-acre area, part of the Pere Marquette State Forest.
Close by, just north of Traverse City, beautiful nature area with miles of well marked trails for summer and winter fun. Have hiked, snowshoed and explored many times.

Golf, invented in Scotland, Perfected in Traverse City. Even in northern Michigan - the Midwest's golf capital - LochenHeath Golf Club stands out. Rated by Golf Digest for 2015 as #12 Best Course in Michigan and has been listed in both Golf Magazine and Golfweek as a Top Course You Can Play, the challenging 7,239-yard course, only minutes from downtown Traverse City, is a shot-maker's dream. The Scottish links-style design is one of very few in northern Michigan and features rolling terrain, wide open fairways and deep, well-placed bunkers. Many holes offer sweeping views of Grand Traverse Bay. Beyond golf, LochenHeath has an outstanding restaurant, a well-stocked pro shop, and an attentive staff that's eager to please. We are transitioning to a fully private club but invite outside play during this transition. For the perfect golf experience, please call to reserve your tee time.

This museum is incredible! I lived up north for 20 years and never went but after I moved and went back up north for a visit we all decided to go museum hopping!! Let me tell you!!!! This place is incredible. My daughter is a beautiful city girl but wow the impact of this great museum was exciting. The scenes that are set puts you right with the animals in their own environments with a slice of fun as the post questions, “find the ....”, so it becomes a fun competition too. Great fun and the gift store has many rustic items to choose from!!! Love it!! It is a must stop! Of course I purchased the toddler pink mocisins for my adorable grandbaby!!

It's always time to play at this Native American gaming complex featuring 1,239 slots and 30 table games.
First time visit to this Michigan casino. It had plenty of slot machines and game play. They do require that everyone where a mask and do take COVID guidelines serious. The best part for me, is now that sports betting is legal in Michigan, they have sports book on the 3rd floor. I'd go back for sure.
