I only heard of this place a few weeks ago and had to go. It definitely needs a lot more publicity because it is a really nice site. It is amazing to find a garden of this quality in the middle of Alabama. There are a ton of sculptures. During the middle of July there are also a ton of butterflies, which were a nice bonus. There is a spot where you can just about make out the meteor crater. Highly recommended for a couple of hours of a relaxing stroll.

Have I always left a winner? No. Is the place awesome? Yes. Hats off to all the employees, many that I know, that make this a great casino. Rooms are great, machines pay pretty fair and I always enjoy the property. Thanks WC staff.

The park is full of re-enactors is authentic period costumes the first week of November annually. You have the French militia at Fort Toulouse and the English at Fort Jackson. You also have the Indians performing the Stomp Dance among others. There are musicians, soldiers shooting the cannon, blacksmiths, and many more who are happy to explain life long ago. You can even sample sasprilla, root beer and fry bread. Great event for the kids.
