Sunset Plaza has been an oasis for shopping for over 90 years. It’s the ideal place to spend an afternoon shopping, pampering oneself, and then having a relaxing meal al fresco. It currently features 41 designer shops and spas and 6 restaurants and cafes with more coming soon! Sunset Plaza has had, as its many tenants, haberdashers, agents, decorators, salons, restaurants and nightclubs such as the legendary Trocadero. Several of the tenants are historically notable for the part they played in Hollywood and design history, such as photographer George Hurrell, and fashion designers Adrian and Don Loper, and Elizabeth Arden. Most recently, Sunset Plaza was chosen as a location for Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party, where a large tent was built to highlight the gorgeous views over Los Angeles. A visit to Sunset Plaza is one of the consummate experiences of traversing the Sunset Strip. Taking a break from the hectic traffic and non-stop growth in the area is one of the most enjoyable ways to while away the afternoon.
Great LA location with a great selection of shops and restaurants ... always a good atmosphere on Sunset Plaza!

Placed on the Registry of Historic Places in 1976, the largest private estate in the history of Beverly Hills serves as a venue for city events, weddings, films and summer day camp.
Greystone Park is nestled in the midst of a beautiful Beverly Hills residential neighborhood, just off the famed Sunset Strip. The formal gardens are lovely even in winter. I imagine that in spring they are quite spectacular. Unfortunately, tours of the mansion are offered sporadically. The best part of these grounds (in addition to being quiet) is that they are free.

This secluded hotel is a popular celebrity hideaway.
Nearly all the tourists visit LA always ask the same question- where should I go to see celebrities?... honestly, everywhere! They could be in the hole in the wall bar for a bear, or a chic restaurant for a romantic dinner.. BUT, if you really determined to enjoy brunch or dinner and see an A-lister actor you are in luck, make a reservation for Chateau Marmont Restaurant, you have high chance of run into one, two of many of them on a good night (later is better, both for brunch or dinner)
The restaurant is like an oasis in the center of the busy Sunset Blvd., the outdoor area is the place to be, it is a castle garden, surrounded by the trees, drapes, and the view of the beautiful castle wall, you will feel like you are travel back in time to Europe in the 1800's, minus the hollywood pretty people.
Food is ok, service is so so, then again, you are not there specifically for food right? You are there to experience the old Hollywood, the amazing ambiance, the possibility to rub shoulders with celebrities. A great place for romantic dinners for the couples, also excellent place for friends get together to celebrate and have fun!
Remember three things:
- Reservation is a must
- No photos are allowed
- Valet is recommended (get validated for reduced fee), you may just be chatting with Elton John, and get your parking paid by Sacha Baron Cohen, celebrities are just like us ;)

The libruary is very large, clean and parking is super easy. The place feels safe and well taken care of. I am highly recommend you check schedule of their classes on line: some require registration some do not. They offer music, story telling and other kids activities. Amazing

A public observatory owned and operated by the City of Los Angeles for the benefit of all. Located in on Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park, the Observatory offers a planetarium, exhibits, public telescopes, cafe, bookstore, and the best views of the Los Angeles basin. Admission is free, and visitors may drive directly to the Observatory and park in its lots and roads.
We were unable to get to the observatory because of the crowds. So recommend you go there way before the opening Cars were parked everywhere. Many walked a great distance uphill to get there

This was the most fun that I've had in a long time. It is a bit pricey, but everywhere is, so it's priced like all of the other parks. The rides were sooo fun and the shows & tour were awesome. Can't wait to go back!

Trendy area filled with funky stores and cafes and great for people-watching.
At the end of West Hollywood, a great walk through out boutiques, art work and traveling back to the past with so much memorabilia, makes this tourist experience unique.

Subset Strip is a geeat place to have a stroll. So many fantastic places to eat both on the Strip and on the many side streets leading off it.
Lots of glitz and glamour as you'd expect from Hollywood and we really enjoyed it.
Some good places to sit and sip a cold drink and just watch the glamourous shoppers go by.

Lots of good "label" shops, very upmarket and some top well known restaurants, i.e The Ivy. Probably nicer and less glitz than Rodeo Drive.

My wife and I spent a few hours strolling the shops here. The art and clothes shops are beautiful and definitely for the 1%. Everyone we came across in the shops were super friendly and got to take pictures of my wife trying on clothes we never could afford while drinking champagne! It was a eat time.
