Waynesboro’s premier live entertainment performance venue in which all of the arts may be appreciated, enjoyed, learned and supported. Wayne Theatre features live concerts from all genres of music and performers, musicals, plays, dance performances, variety shows, workshops, lecture and speaker series, art exhibits, movies including classic films, art education programs for students, masterclasses, and serves as a rental facility for parties and special events. The Wayne’s restoration and re-opening in 2016 was fueled by a handful of community members who had the vision of what the Wayne could mean to the community.
We’ve become regulars at the Monday movies and enjoyed many classics with their friendly host, Mr. Jimmy Overton. He introduces the Monday selections with a brief history and some interesting trivia. He’s got a great delivery and makes everyone feel welcome. It’s like watching great movies with a good friend!

Started at milepost 0 and drove out to MP 30. Was amazed at how the road is maintained. Plenty of pull offs and parking for hiking. Suggest a map or download where the stop offs are. Wasn’t going the whole route, but just the short time we were driving on it, was rewarding.

We loved so many of these and now have some framed and in our home. Many historic sites and buildings are captured in a very unique style. Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello and UVA especially. My wife loves the birds too. We spent an easy hour looking at prints to buy and were very pleased with our purchases.
