Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon. The displays is wonderful and presents the butterflies in their beautiful natural setting..great chance to get up close for super pictures and the info signs that are posted give a lot of great facts. Outside area/garden is very nice and perfect for some photo opportunities. Cost may seem a little high but it is beautifully maintained..

I have taken several classes at 577. Jewelry making was my favorite I went into the "classroom" and found several different stones and beads. I made three pair of earrings and a necklace. The lady who was teaching the class had several helpful hints to make things go smoothly she was very helpful. My husband also singled me up to a a basket weaving class of all things not at all my favorite but the other people in the class and the persons teaching the class made it more fun than it would have been otherwise.

Picturesque park to capture deer, birds, Fox, squirrels ducks and Canadian Geese And sometimes an Eagle hunting for dinner in the Maumee River! Nature trails on both sides of River Road and a bird watching sanctuary close to the Anthony Wayne Trail! Great park to capture graduation and wedding photos for sure! Enjoy!

Stopped over the weekend while we were in the area. Was surprised at how extensive the offerings were. Everything from glass, to pottery, paintings, home decor, jewelry and everything in between. A few things were pricey, but there were lots of things to fit in anyone's budget. Fun place to browse.

Built during the War of 1812 by William Henry Harrison, Fort Meigs successfully defended Ohio from a combined force of British and Native Americans during the spring and summer of 1813. It also served as the step-off point for General Harrison's invasion of Canada in the fall of that year. Reconstructed in the 1970s and again in 2000 on its original location, Fort Meigs stands today to tell the story of the thousands of soldiers who lived, fought, and died there over 200 years ago. In addition to the reconstructed fort, a visitor center and museum are also located on the site, housing hundreds of artifacts discovered during archaeological digs of the battlefield.
Not up to the par of National forts. You can not use your senior National parks pass. An earthen fort. It's being restored. The attached museum is good, nice displays and very good historical information. Open Wednesday to Saturday 9:30- 5:00 and Sunday 12 - 5:00. The musket firing was good and the "soldier" very informative. The exhibits inside the fort are okay. Hopefully they will continue to upgrade the interior of the fort. The workers were great and friendly. We were still glad we made the trip and if you enjoy the history you will too.

You can visit the park many, many times and still find something new to see and do! I live close by and visit often, but never ceased to be amazed at the new places within it and the new rare species which exist. From the sand dunes to the bike trails to Tornado Alley to Mallard Lake, there are so many different habitats to explore in one trip or many. So many rare things to appreciate! Truly the best of the Toledo Area MetroParks!

This Antique Mall has a wide variety of merchandise. Each vendor's spot seems to be easily accessible. The place is HUGE! We spent at least 2 hours there and only saw about half. The staff was helpful and professional. If you like antiques, you will enjoy this place!

I really enjoy taking my kids out Kayaking on the Maumee River. The River Lures Kayak Concession at Farnsworth is the path of least resistance to do this; it is inexpensive and a ton of fun. We typically rent a double Kayak and a kiddo sits in front and I do the paddling from the back. It usually takes us about an hour to paddle up stream (against the current), we go around an island and then let the current bring us back to the launch area. If it is windy, it can be brutal paddling a large double kayak against the current and the wind, but its not impossible and is always fun. There are a couple little spots where the kids like to get out and take a break on a little sand bar between the islands. I highly recommend this as an adventure with the kids!

Visited this outdoor mall when we visit Maumee a couple of weekends ago. Very nice shops with plenty of parking. There are a few restuarants, cinema, JCP anchor where we found a nice MK purse on sale as well as a blender. The exact same purse was selling at SAMs Club for $40 more. There was a Dillard's but no real sales. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere and no grocery store. Other than that, nice place to spend an afternoon window shopping. Would recommend to all if in the area.

This shopping area has a great selection of mid to upscale shops and gift shops. Lots of choices for dining as well. Parking is close. Movie theater is one of the best in the area. They also do seasonal events like Christmas celebrations, live music, arts & crafts fair and more.
