Bringing the ideas of complete contentment (santosha), we aim to guide you on a journey to find your center so that you may experience a harmony both within and without. Modern Western medicine—while important and good—does not have to be the only path we take to find healthy balance and harmony in our lives. MVL's Integrative Massage Therapy offers another pathway to equilibrium by working alongside medicine, not separate from it. By working your body and your mind, we strive to find that balance between the two, which leads to a more stable and healthy state. Harmony leads to a more positive attitude, which in turn helps us cleanse the negativity from our lives. A healthy mind leads to healthy decisions, which leads to a healthy overall you.

From our workshop in Middlebury, Vermont, we make American pewter inspired by ancient craft and modern day design. We create beautiful objects — rooted in simplicity and functionality — designed to be used: Christmas ornaments passed down through generations, oil lamps to light cozy homes, jewelry to adorn the everyday.

Tthe Ziemke Glassblowing Studio is the working studio of Glass Artist Glenn Ziemke. It features an observation room where visitors can watch glassblowing as the artists are working. There is also a gallery attached which features the entire line of Glenn's work including from glassware for the table to sculptural pieces for the home and for gifts. Glenn has been working in glass for 45 years and his Waterbury Center Studio is observing its 26th year.
This was a true find while we were in town. The owner's studio is beautiful, with all sorts of different pieces to buy. The best treat is being able to see him work in the back, through a large glass window. We were poking around and he told us he was going to go back and do some work, and invited us to sit down and watch for a bit. He explained what he was going to do and then came back out to answer questions afterwards. It's a very cool place to stop in and take a look around.

Prohibition Pig Brewery is located behind our restaurant and features lunch + supper 7 days a week. We fill growlers with any of our house beers. The brewery menu includes street food from Central and South America. The brewery has outdoor seating in the warmer months.
We finally made it to prohibition pig's brewery after years or trying to get a seat! We took advantage of a cool Tuesday and we had the place to ourselves! There are a few spaced apart of tables inside and lots of outdoor seating. Loved the Cubano sandwich and all their IPAs!

We did a 3 mile hike up Monroe Trail to Camel’s Hump in the Green Mountains in Vermont. Best part of the 6 hour hike was how pristine and unspoilt the entire trail was. It’s bear country, since the forest canopy cancels out any direct sun on you, a walk up the mountain even in the middle of the day is a good idea. The view on top of Vermont’s 3rd highest peak is stunning. The trail is open through the year and my next plan is to hike in the snow.
