Had a very informative visit learning about the different types of olives, production of extra virgin olive oil and table olives, then finished off with a tasting of olives, vinegar and nuts. Well worth a visit and much appreciated that the tour would still be done for one person. Thanks.

A stunning venue with food, drink and beautiful staff to match. Completely loved this event - and the Cup was not the focus! The delicious share platters were incredible, as were the canapes prior to lunch. The seating afforded divine views, and outside the marquee, such gorgeous soft grass and opportunity to mingle. Extremely clever use of space, and such generous sharing of the best view in Wagga!

I visited while my wife was working nearby just to kill half an hour..woops stayed 2hrs lucky my wife was busy..phew... There are three sites to visit 1 railway museum on Wagga Wagga station platform right side near bridge. It is full of photos and memorabilia and Peter is very informative and knowledgeable. It costs a donation of $2 to help the running of preservation society a further $2 will get you access to the larger dispay items located a short walk over "Mothers Bridge" where the informative Sue and hubby Ken will take you through the displays. See photos of some of the items. This has 2 sheds full of stuff including display materials. You can see them restoring old items by another gent which I didn't get a name for sorry.. visit their website for more info. Open from 11am to 2.30pm most days The third shed houses a model rail layout(s) but is only open Wednesday's or first Saturday of the month. Sadly i visited on a friday. Again over the bridge but left 100m Unfortunately for this society and others in NSW means that there is no heritage railways due to to much nanny state regulations. If you want to ride a steam train come to Melbourne plenty of different ones available and i don't mean Puffing Billy ( a good commercial one running in the Dandenongs). I highly recommend this attraction to all rail enthusiasts and for those wishing a bit of history.

Wander through the well maintained gardens or use a free gas BBQ before heading into to the free zoo. There is a cactus/succulent garden hidden behind one of the children’s playgrounds, and the Chinese Garden is very pretty when the camellias are in bloom. The mini ride-on railway is a bit of fun for kids and adults ($2.50), running every second Sunday. Check the website for dates. The cafe/restaurant is closed st the moment, but hopefully will reopen soon.
