It was a hot afternoon last Tuesday in mid March and 4 of us visitors to Vung Tau (just to Chill for a couple of weeks) decided to visit Robert Taylor's Musueum of Worldwide Arms. 4 of us were blown away by this amazing collection of Military Uniforms, Memorabilia and Facts dating back centuries. The buildings were immaculately kept and airconditioned to maintain the integrity of the uniforms. 3 different buildings full of amazing weapons and uniforms even those of the Australians fighting in the Vietnam war 50 years ago. Highly recommended to see this private collection here in Vietnam.

This is the statue of mother marry. The rise of the Christian cross on the mountain top. Along the way met the 15 Biblical scenes the way of Jesus Christ. Lifting heavy, but it is worth it. Types from the top are excellent. I recommend to visit early in the morning before the heat or in the evening under the sun can throw a couple of liters of water with you.

Every time I come down to Vung Tau, I climb the 811 stairs. If you want to visit inside the statue, don't wear a singlet (men or women). Obviously, the various views are wonderful and make up for the hard work climbing!

Since long ago, people always try to solve problem by the same way: beginning-ending. That procedure only brings little improvement. So we take a step backward, turn it upside down to approach them, freshly. Thus Upside Down House wants to share with you the different angle of daily items to you. Besides the imaginetastic experience, you will be able to browse our gift shop and enjoy local drinks.
It’s not often you come across something new but the upside down house was certainly new to us. It ticks all the boxes: great fun, staffed by enthusiastic helpers and great value for money.

With the area of 50ha, at the height of over 250m compared with the sea water level, HỒ MÂY PARK always has cool and clean air, bringing an easy and comfortable feeling to the tourists. At the 120km distance from Ho Chi Minh City, HO MAY PARK is an ideal destination so that you can go sightseeing, relax and have happy and comfortable moments with your family and friends. This place is one of the famous tourist attractions in Vung Tau as well, it is favored by many domestic and foreign tourists. HO MAY PARK is a population of various landscapes in combination with many different forms of tour such as: ecological tour, spiritual tour, cultural tour, tour of entertainment, relaxation…If Ho May is considered as other Ba Na within Vung Tau, it is because the way to Ho May is rather special.
I went to Ho May Park with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It's really random! 400,000 for a ticket which included the cable car up and down and all the attractions inside. The zipling is decent, the rollercoaster is hilarious, you steer it yourself, also loads of ostrich's! It's quite nice just to walk around too, a nice park! Good way to spend 3hours in Vung Tau!

This was definitely a worthwile excursion! The walk was a nice powerwalk, but with better view than the hike to the Jesus statue. Well at the top there is a wide square for viewing the city and the sea side in all directions. Great spot for watching the sunset. And the walk back down is lit, so no need to worry about darkness. Also, sweet restaurant on the way and easy to get a Grab, if you prefer.

Definitely the best and closest beach to go to if you visit Saigon. Only 90-120 minutes away from Saigon, accessible by boat, bus or van service. Lots of nice hotels, restaurants and coffee shops. The perfect place to escape from busy and lively Saigon.

Its only about 15 mins walk or a short taxi ride to the ferry terminal from the Ben Thank markets. Flashy new Greenlines fast ferry is pleasant. My trip took about 2 hrs depending on the weather. Price is now about 200,000 DONG. Yes an increase from previous years. The Bus is 160,000 by comparasion.
