Awesome guides! Caroline was hysterical!!! But she never forget safety during her comedy, and was good about paying attention to us. Bree, also hysterical! We had a blast! Office staff Danielle and Blake? (I think) very friendly and great at answering our questions, making us a priority. Well worth the price, awesome adventure for a special occasion or just a fun day out! Wear good walking/hiking shoes...some of it is real exercise! But gorgeous scenery for hiking!

Sailing yacht charter service offering a unique way to see the beauty of the Texas Hill Country on Lake Travis. You and your friends will sail the beautiful waters of Lake Travis on the largest sailing yacht on the lake with a highly knowledgeable skipper. Available for sunset cruises, bachelor and bachelorette parties and any special celebration.
We reserved Sail Austin Charters for my 50th birthday celebration. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day to sail Lake Travis! There were 11 of us on the boat and we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the water. Captain Tim was very safety conscientious and communicated clearly the boat rules which made all of us feel very safe and secure! He had great play lists and was very accommodating for the food and drinks we brought on board. We are definitely doing this again.

The Veteran's Memorial Park is beautiful and amazing. Cedar Park and Veterans in our area did this park very well . They made it a place for families to play and to see the importance we place on our Veterans. The park, especially the area in the middle where the big monument is, is totally handicap friendly so that elderly veterans and their families can walk around the monuments!!! I was amazed at how great that is. The monument and flag is on higher ground and the wide concrete walkway spirals around and up to the monument so that a person can see all sides and never have to get out of their wheelchair! The bricks have names of Veterans from our area whose families donated to the park by donating bricks. A new Monument to Gold Star Families has just been finished and is on the way to the big monument on the hill. All of them are connected by walkways.
The rest of the park is also amazing and very family friendly. There is a pool, a dog park, and a great performing area where people can sit to be part of an audience and look down at the stage area. There are walking/running paths that have beautiful trees. There are Picnic tables, etc. and good parking.
I love this place and have told many people about it. We are blessed that it was done so beautifully in Cedar Park, Texas!

Explore Lake Travis Like Never Before: Take a Dive From The Giant Stride! * Two-Tank charter dives * Instructional dives * Sunset dives * Recreational or Technical dives Lake Travis Scuba offers a look into the depths of Lake Travis, offering transportation to dive sites that shore-entry divers never get to see!
Robert and Daniel were great guides. It was chilly, but they kept us warm between dives in the enclosed cockpit and with lots a warm water in our wetsuits. Great diving practice for novice divers. All safety procedures were gone over before hand. Would definitely dive with them again.

You don't see one of these everyday. This is a restored/working water mill that's only open one day per month. Last Sunday of each month if I recall correctly. It's run by friendly and knowledgeable volunteers so they might provide access on other days for groups ( school groups, scouts, etc)...but I'm assuming.
There's a small museum next to the mill that's also interesting.
I'd allow 30 - 60 minutes for a visit

First of all, their website allows you to check the availability of boats and reserve them online. No need to even pick up the phone. Super easy! In this age of the internets, it's surprising no one else lets you do this. Online-friendly and reasonably priced, check.
The marina is a bit secluded, with a private feel to it. We did not have to fight any crowds to get to the dock. Our captain was on time and had our boat ready to go by the time we arrived. He also helped us load the coolers and explained the lay of the land. Professionalism, check.
The boat itself was almost immaculately clean. You can tell they take time taking care of their fleet. No mold, mildew, nothing. We took a bigger pontoon boat out, and it was quite roomy, with plush seats. We put the top cover up to provide some much needed shade on a hot day. Comfort, cleanliness, check.
Our captain took us all over the lake! We didn't really know where we could even go, but he told us all about different destinations you can explore! Ended up cruising around Hippy Hollow, Stars (sp?) island, and finally to Devils Cove, which was a complete zoo. The rest of the trip is a little hazy. All in all, everyone had a really good time on the water. Fun day on the lake, check!
You can't go wrong with these guys. We'll be back to Piranha for sure.
Tour Lake Austin and Lake Travis in style on our brand new Bentley luxury pontoon boats. Our friendly captains will handle the driving, you can kick back and enjoy yourself. Great options available for birthday, bachelor and bachelorette parties, sunset happy hours or just a day on the water with friends.

Perhaps the most beautiful LCRA park around Lake Travis.
There is ample room for fishing and swimming. There are many shades picnic tables and campsites. The hilly terrain provides beautiful hiking and wilderness walks. Campsites and picnic areas have *new* and clean BBQ grills. The picnic areas are spacious and have paved parking which is also shaded by mature oak trees.
The park has beaches where you can set up your chairs, tubes, ice chests and other supplies.
The park is spacious so there is always a place to park in secluded areas that offer privacy.
The park is just minutes from north Austin so access is quick and cheap.

Before I write my (parents) review, I will say the children (all under 10) had a good time and enjoyed the park. However, I was completely underwhelmed with the "water park". First of all, it is very small. So if you are expecting schlitterbahn, think again. It has only 4 rides, a small area for toddlers, a volleyball pit and a small pool. I guess it was nice that I could sit and watch the kids in one spot instead of running after them like at schlitterbahn but it just wasn't what we were expecting. I think my biggest concern were the so-called life guards. They were all teenagers who wore no identification to help your identify who even worked there. The only way I could tell was that about 4 of them congregated under a tree and had a great time laughing and playing with each other. Not ONE of them were watching the water except the one worker (not included in the 4) at the top of the slides.
The bathrooms were DISGUSTING!! We were the first ones in the park so you would have expected to walk into a clean bathroom. That was not the case. The toilets were DIRTY as if they hadn't been cleaned for months. There was toilet paper all over the floors and in the toilet.
Also, the signs are kinda confusing when u first get there. It is hard to locate the park. You have to park in a remote lot and pay $7.00.
I think the park could be better if they just spent some time and effort to fix it up.
