This is a beautiful beach away from the hustle and bustle. The WWII lookout tower is visible as well as a ship wreck. Great place to watch the sunset as you can probably figure out by the name.

We must have come on a perfect day because we saw a bald eagle and ten other species including many hawks, accipiters, and falcons. There were even a few Monarch butterflies left. Lovely day and the staff was knowledgeable and had to quality Swarovski field glasses. To loan out.

Three generations of the Wuerker family have lovingly cultivated the farmland at Hawk Haven Vineyard and Winery. The sandy soils and ocean breezes provide the perfect conditions for great grape growing. Vineyard guests taste our diverse collection of wines at the extra-long mahogany bar and meander through the vines with bottles of wine and picnic baskets. Tastings are educational and enjoyable. Please join us, our tasting room is open daily, year round with live music, tours, and a lunch menu on select dates.
I stopped by Hawk Haven Winery yesterday. My dad is on hospice, with not much time left, and I had a break (I'm his caregiver) and have been wanting to visit this winery. I did a tasting and it was so nice and the staff were great and I left with 5 bottles of wine and a lighter spirit.

We met Topaz, Maybelline, Leah, and so many more. We were given carrots to feed the alpacas. My mother has a walker and we prearranged by email for the visit. Tish and the delightful people shared their knowledge with us. They were all helpful with mom. We bought pretty hats, gloves, and more. Thank you for a great visit.

These walking trails are not bike and walking friendly, like they claim they are.The tree roots are breaking up threw all the trails, also there are falling tree limbs all over the trails, also a lot of flooded trails. So is a real problem to complete the trails any one you chose.Come Fish and Wildlife lets clean this park up.

For a small (optional) donation you can spend 10-20 minutes or more checking out their nice collection of Vietnam memorabilia and artifacts. Outside there are several Vietnam-era military vehicles as well. And of course next door is the NAS Wildwood Museum with a nice collection of warbirds. Stop in and pay your respect to our "Forgotten Warriors" of the Vietnam War.

Owner and Master Winemaker, Salvatore Turdo's passion and commitment, has established Turdo Vineyards as New Jersey's most distinct vineyard & winery. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Tasted 5 wines and they were all delicious. Not the sweet crap that so many places on the East Coast. These wines reflect Italy and California, dry with great tannins. Get here early, as the tasting room is small and fills up quick:

Great parasailing trip with great captain and mate. Thoroughly explained the process, what to expect and sights to watch for. Provided good tips for parent and child duos (ages 8 and age 11) on what to do so we all felt prepared. Definitely opt-in for the photo package as it is difficult to capture photos while the boat is moving and the action is going so quickly. Each grouping had adequate time to glide and got a "toe-dip" in the ocean if they chose to get wet. Much more serene and relaxed than we anticipated.
