Right up there with Nordstrom's in service and selection. Wife just came back and couldn't stop talking about the service people. She also bought a very expensive shawl, but the whole thing was worth it. Can't understand why the other places have forgotten that service sells. Great store, we'll be back.

The superhighway of pre-Civil War America, this marvel of human engineering and labor, built from Albany to Buffalo, opened up America's frontier to the west.
I love living within walking distance of the historic Erie Canal in the village of Fairport. The path along the canal is great for walking or cycling. The path is paved and well lit at night. Enjoyable to walk the path anytime of year. An added bonus is the variety of restaurants and shops in close proximity to the canal.

Tour the Smith Family Farm to learn more about the boyhood of Joseph Smith Jr., the first prophet and president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visit the nearby Sacred Grove, where Joseph received a vision of God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Tours are Free.
My family greatly enjoyed our experience at the Smith Family Farm. Whether you are a member of the LDS faith or not, walking through the restored Smith farm, which was a jumping off point for one of America's most enduring religious movements, is educational and insightful. The Mormon missionaries who guide you through the sites are respectful and considerate. You will have as much time as you want to go through everything. My family particularly enjoyed spending time in what Mormons refer to as the sacred grove.

The new Seneca Art & Culture Center is an interactive, interpretive facility at Ganondagan telling the story of the Seneca and Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) contributions to art, culture and society for more than 2,000 years to the present day. The gift shop features beautiful Seneca and Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) art, jewelry, basketry, clothing, and our heirloom Iroquois White Corn products. A 17th-century bark longhouse replica (open May- Oct) reflects the life of the Seneca people who once lived here. Three marked ethno-botanical and historical trails invite you to walk and learn more about us. Heirloom gardens and fields of native grasses are contemporary reminders of the land's origins. Our festivals and special events share the culture of our people through dance, music, arts, sports, storytelling and other Iroquois traditions. Visit Ganondagan to discover the living culture and natural world of the Seneca people at their historic Town of Peace.
I was surprised to find such a modern structure sitting in the midst of rolling farmland/hills here in Victor. While I am not sure if this type of structure fits with the natural surroundings or acts as a tribute to the Iroquois/Ganondagan, I was impressed and most definitely appreciated the fact that the structure is set within the earth so as it tries to blend in with the natural contours of the land. The museum is not large - it can be covered in about an hour or so. The exhibits are exceedingly informative and well thought out. There are numerous interactive exhibits which I enjoyed as well. There is a traditional Iroquois long house situated up the hill at the rear of the museum. This is an excellent recreation. There are several hiking/walking trails surrounding the museum. The museum staff was very friendly and was always available to provide additional information. I'd like more people to know about this museum so they can understand about the culture of a people who lived here long before Europeans arrived.

This venue for a wedding is fantastic. This was one of the best wedding venues I have been to! The staff was on top of everything that needed to be done, the waitresses were professional and efficient. I can't speak more highly of this venue. It was beautiful and the staff clearly worked with the bride to make it her special day!

We had a great time! Our driver was very knowledgeable of the area and helped us a great deal. She was on time and got us back on time as well. She talked with us during the trip. The vehicle was very clean and comfortable. We will absolutely call them again when we are in need of transportation.

Never before have I ever felt more pampered and luxurious! From the moment that I walked into the spa to the moment that I left I was overcome by a sense of well being. The gentle lights and soothing music, the well planned atmosphere and the thoughtful extras that were provided only enhanced the complete relaxation! The staff was both professional and courteous. The quiet room was delightful offering a place to lounge and relax as well as fruit infused water, tea and trail mix. My daughter and I enjoyed massages, facials and pedicures from the well trained, professional staff! The seaweed scrub, soak and massage were like nothing that I have ever had before and I will remember how wonderful it was for a very, very long time! I was completely relaxed after (a large feat for me!). I followed with a seaweed facial also amazing and a pedicure that left my feet soft and relaxed! The down side to this phenomenal experience is that it has ruined me for any other spa ever!!!
TREAT YOURSELF!!! You will be GLAD that you did!!!!

Put aside at least two hours when you visit this antique mall. The range of offerings is from small collectibles to large furniture pieces. The quality runs from schlock to fine. Almost any kind of collectible or antique you might consider is probably here, even if it is tucked in a corner. You just have to look for it.
We never leave without at least one purchase, if not many.
