Nallamudi Viewpoint is in a private tea estate and we have to walk up about one kilometer after getting off the vehicle. The view of the valley is awesome. The cool breeze and unpolluted air and the view of tea Gardens, forest etc will give an unforgettable experience. When we visited last time the atmosphere was cool and mist was spreading occassionally and there were other families and few foreign tourists too. The Nallamudi viewpoint is a perfect family picnic spot.

Kindly skip this place. This is a small private temple in a private tea estate and there's nothing special here. Vehicles were stopped at a place and we need to walk a lot to reach this place which is quite difficult for elders. At the entrance itself, the security staffs keep shouting at us to switch off our mobile phones and we are not supposed to use it. This was too much scene for this place and definitely not worthy. People come to this place after a long travel from the valparai town and giving such restrictions is not at all fair.

This is a huge reserve consisting of Mountains, Forests, Waterfalls, dams, reservoirs and ofcourse plants trees and animals. Topslip seems to be the focal point and no private vehicles are allowed beyond a certain point. One has to buy tickets and travel in Forest department vehicles. Wild life that we spotted were Sambar deer, Malabar giant squirrel, Peacocks and langurs. There are several dams in this area including Perambikullam dam. A well preserved region.
