Indonesia’s annual Soundrenaline is a two-day music and arts festival held at the Garuda Wishnu Kencana Cultural Park in Jalan Raya Uluwatu, Bali. Popular with Indonesians and foreigners alike, the main focus is on contemporary Indonesian music and art. Overall, it’s a great festival to check out if you want to immerse yourself in the country's growing rock music scene and an interesting alternative to Bali’s more touristy attractions.

Karma Beach Bali

I found this place on Instagram and I knew I had to go. Since I was visiting Bali solo, I figured this would be a nice, chill place to relax for the day. It was fabulous. The views from the top of the hill are breathtaking. The turquoise and blue waters are far different than the beaches of Seminyak where I had been saying. I took the lift down to the beach and was promptly greeted. While I hadn’t reserved a cabana chair, I was quickly shown to an open one. The waitstaff was great. The food was delicious (I had sushi). The water, while cold, was gorgeous; super clear and full of sea life. Will definitely return next time I come to Bali.

Blue Point Beach

The beauty of the beaches in Bali called Blue Point, Distance from Kuta beach is about 45 minutes, by passing through the winding roads and up and down. Location Blue Point is still a one-way to the temple of Uluwatu, Padang-padang beach, and Dreamland. This beach is situated in the village of Pecatu, namely at the southern tip of the Badung regency. Actually the original name of this beach is Suluban. Near the beach there is a hotel called Bluepoint Villas, so Suluban better known as Bluepoint. The hotel is quite well known outside of Bali and was used for shooting advertising a brand drinks, starring Miss Universe. 'Suluban' adoption of the word 'mesulub' which in Balinese language means "in bali have to stoop to walk through a gap in the cliff". This may be because the road to this beach you must go down through a narrow road between the coastal cliffs.

Blue Point - also known as Bat Cave locally is one of the beautiful beaches in Bali where you can find waves gushing through the cave like gorgeous limestone formations.. You need to hike down quite a bit of stairs, be careful as they are sandy and slippery sometimes.. You will find a Delpi Cafe (if I remember the name correctly) above the caves to relax and enjoy the view. Recommended for hiking and surfing!! ????????

A beach with white sand, open to the sea, with crystalline waters, big and to be able to enjoy, with care, the waves and the swimming. Not that it is the best beach in the area, but the area is surely worth discovering and getting lost. For us from the best areas of Bali.

Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park

Rising from the rugged hills of Bali’s Bukit Peninsula, the magnificent Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue stands watch over the island. The towering statue is Bali’s most iconic landmark and depicts the Hindu God Wisnu, atop his mount, the mythical eagle, Garuda. Soaring to a height of over 120 meters, this is one of the tallest monumental statues in the world, higher than both the Statue of Liberty and Christ the Redeemer. The statue makes a stunning central feature of GWK Cultural Park, a fascinating 60 hectare cultural park that draws visitors from around the globe and provides a tantalizing glimpse into Bali’s fascinating heritage through intriguing cultural performances, legendary folklore tales, immense sculptures and dramatic cinematic presentation. Enjoy panoramic island views as you explore the park on foot or by Segway. Indulge in Indonesian heritage cuisine, immerse yourself in a land steeped in mythology, or plan your next big event in one of GWK’s epic venues.

In that area there is also the Garuda Statue which is right behind Plaza Vishnu is the Garuda Plaza where the statue as high as 18 meters Garuda is placed temporarily. At this time, Garuda Plaza is the focal point of a large corridor carved with limestone that covers more than 4000 square meters of open space namely Lotus Pond. Colossal limestone pillars and monumental Lotus Pond Garuda sculptures make for a very exotic space. With a room capacity that can accommodate up to 7000 people, Lotus Pond has earned a good reputation as the perfect place to hold large and international events. There is also a statue of Vishnu's hand which is part of the statue of Lord Vishnu. This is one step closer to completing the complete Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue. This work was placed temporarily in the Tirta Agung area. On September 22, 2018 President Joko Widodo along with First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo attended the inauguration of the Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) statue.
