Soft white beaches and clear blue waters make this bay a popular tourist destination.
Beautiful beach with the great Caribbean crystal blue water at your feet. You can rent beach chairs, they have food and drinks available. No hotels on this beach. Very calm waters you can walk in for two blocks before it gets deep, Great for Kids. Also Jet skis to rent

Warm, calm and clear waters make this a perfect beach for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving.
We have just been on the P&O Azura. and this was one of the best stops on our cruise. Sun Ray beach is located just at the end of the ships pier. The cruise centre has a number of sunbeds and parasols on the beach closest to the pier, these are free. However, these soon go and the day we were there another two cruise ships also arrived-so busy! We paid 25 dollars for two sunbeds and an umbrella, drinks were usual price -five beers for 20 dollars. Horse riding along the beach and even in the shallow sea water was available for 20 dollars. The beach is beautiful with shallow clear water just about all you could expect from the Caribbean, ideal for a swim or snorkeling. The cruise centre itself is rather small, the astronaut John Glenn splashed down nearby and has a commemoration statue and information within the centre . When we were there it was a lovely, sunny day however, if it was a dull or wet day I don't know what else would be available as the island itself is only small. Lovely beach, super sea and great people.

Uninhabited island with some of the most beautiful beaches and the best diving sites the islands have to offer.
Fun day with Captain Meat and Pablo. Even with the curfew looming (5p), we were able to swim several times, eat fresh conch ceviche, hike the trail, and the adult beverages (along with sodas/water) were plenty for our group of 5 and we made it back to the resort with time to spare. A deserted island is what we needed before heading back to the States.

A beautiful lagoon made up of brilliant blues and rocky cliffs.
Serene, peaceful, such beautiful water, beach, and more. Turquoise water, non-commercialized beauty!

We were interested in seeing the ship and not being crowded in with the other cruisers. We walked straight there from the ship and were the only tourists there for a couple hours. We rented a couple loungers under a shade canopy and had WiFi access for $25. I didn’t bother to negotiate. There was a friendly dog that hung out next to us for the day and we saw a donkey come by and snatch some food someone left unattended. My husband enjoyed chatting with a local kid that was there snorkeling. More people came as the day went on. You can go to the right, away from the ship, and find shady spots. I just bought a pop for $2 but there were various snacks to choose from. I saw people with styrofoam takeout containers so there must have been food close by. Regarding some of the negative reviews, I am sure there are better beaches and we will look into them next time but this was (for us) a easy walk from the ship. We didn’t see anyone else walking there. We did pick up some trash on the walk. The snorkeling wasn’t good but we were happy to just be in the water. There were a couple vendors but they were friendly and not aggressive or bothersome. There was some glass in one area. After talking to others on the ship who stayed at the cruise center we were even more glad we went there.

Smith reef is the best reef accessible from beach in Providenciales. Giant reefs several foot in size with lots of colorful large fish and sea turtles. We went on an afternoon when the winds were 14mph. Me and my wife waa snorkeling holding hands enjoying the amazing view below. Fully alive coral reefs at only a few feet depth with clear water. This place is way better than Bight reef where the reefs outside the barricaded boundary seemed to be somewhat damaged probably with so many people from grace bay resorts frequenting the Bight reef. Smith reef was surrounded by private residences and there is boat traffic nearby which you have to watch out for. But because of that, may be less people visit this place leaving the reefs and marine life much more diverse and live. Will recommend this place very strongly. The reefs are scattered all along the beach and there is one area with a huge number of coral reefs where fishes also seem to be much higher.

This beach. It’s gorgeous!!! Perfect powdery sand, also packs well so it’s perfect for sand castles. The water is just perfection, it’s shallow, so great for the kids. It’s like a lagoon. You can walk so far out!!! And no waves, it’s peaceful and the kids can just be and play!!! We rented a car so we parked on the side street. There’s a path, where it says ocean front, brings you right down to the beach. Bring towels, food, water and snacks- and an umbrella if you can! The sun is super hot. And you’re not gonna wanna leave, and neither will the kids!

My husband and I recently visited Pillory Beach at the Bohio Dive Resort in Grand Turk. We booked an excursion which included time at the beach resort and an authentic British High Tea. The staff was wonderful and met our expectations. The tea was a relaxing time where we were offered an assortment of teas and had a tiered tray of rum cake, biscuits with jam, and small sandwiches. A new experience for the both of us.

This is a must for everyone who visits T&C. Everyone from the Island comes together for a fun night of food, music and local crafts.
