This vast art museum, housed in an Italian style villa, has numerous exhibits from European, American, Asian, Native American and African artists and is surrounded by acres of lush gardens.
As a lifelong Tulsa resident, I’ve been visiting Philbrook since I was a child. The grounds alone are worth a trip, but the art inside the mansion is also excellent. The staff is very knowledgeable & helpful. There are always special events going on, and each Second Saturday of the month, admission is free.

The world's largest collection of art from the American West is housed at this museum, which is also well stocked with Native American artifacts and artwork. Thematic gardens reflect the gardening styles of different time periods.
Wonderful, a do not miss museum. Especially notable western and Native American art collections. Remington, Russell and Moran paintings and sculptures amongst others. Easy to navigate the spacious galleries. Even if your not big into art, you will enjoy this place.

We attended the Backstreet Boys concert at this venue. The venue itself is nice and big with plenty of space. Concessions are distributed all around so you're close to food and drinks no matter where you're sitting. The venue doesn't have it's own parking lot so if you're coming from out of town, you're forced to pay for parking in a private parking lot and, depending on how close you want to be to the venue, you'll be paying anywhere from $5 to $40 for parking. Fortunately for us, we stayed at a hotel that offered a complimentary shuttle to the center. The only complaint I have is that the seats aren't very big so you're stuck rubbing elbows with your neighbors.

Everytime I have gone to a baseball game at OneOK field I have had a great time. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, and it's fireworks that are displayed periodically are fantastic. Such a great place for a family outing.

This is one of my favorite places to go. If you take some snacks with you (berries, crackers, or nuts), or if you're having a picnic, the squirrels will come right up to you and eat out of your hand. It won't be long before you have a little crowd around you. They're absolutely adorable.

The Woody Guthrie Center is dedicated to preserving Woody Guthrie's body of work and celebrating his life and the continuation of his legacy. As an educational facility, we provide resources to students, teachers, and academics about Woody's important role in American history and his advocacy for social justice.
On a recent visit to Tulsa, we stopped at the Woody Guthrie Center. It was very enjoyable and exceeded our expectations. The music listening stations and movies were fun. But the Dust Bowl virtual reality experience is not to be missed. Yay!

The Cave House in a landmark in Tulsa. It was built in 1924, as a Chicken Restaurant. Built during prohibition, it was a place you could quench your thirst! It not only has quirky architecture, but it probably best known for its stories, full of interesting and sometimes amusing information. It is a great date, or family adventure, and as the owner I love to share it! It is best to call, or message ahead, as I do not have regular hours. Due to scheduling for private tours and groups, and because travelers request all days and times, I try to schedule according to requests as best as I can. The cost is $10.00 for ages 16yr. and older. Ages 15yr and younger are $5.00.
My wife and I couldn't believe the Rich American History behind such a seemingly small roadside attraction! Linda's warm and welcoming presence took us offguard for her vast knowledge of Oklahoma and the Prohibition Era. Everything about this attraction completly blew us out of the water! In an hour, Linda took us into a storybook of detail about the crazy owners of the cave house over the years dating back to when it was a speakeasy for bootleggers. This place is a must book tour for visiting Tulsa!

This is an unassuming landmark and I think purposely the special effect is not written anywhere, but thanks to Tripadvisor I knew what to do. Stand exactly in the center and say whatever you want and it'll echo back to you. It's quite amazing because there are no high walls, the space is open. It's in the center of the restaurant and bar district so it's not a far walk from the most popular dining destinations. Check it out...check it out...it's neat...it's neat...
