Surprising that this place has received so little attention from tourists, but it is very well known among the locals. It could be traced back to Sui Dynasty (581-618) or even earlier. If you are reasonably fit, you can walk up the Tsing Shan Monastery Path (off Tsing Wun Rd) - very refreshing, physically, mentally and spiritually. Within 30 min, you will reach the monastery, and much for you to see - history, culture and relics. Enjoy the peace. For those who want to hike and are fit, you may consider climb up the Tsing Shan (Castle Peak) (580m) - and have a magnificent view of the north west of New Territories. But, be warned - only if you are fit and used to climbing steps!

This park has lots of facilities such as lakes, waterways, play areas and even a reptile house (though some are closed for lockdown). It’s well-used but still peaceful and the mountains in the background provide it with some scenic views too.
