1955 all Original Putt-Putt course with ice cream, family arcade for all ages, surrey and bike rentals, and movie rentals. Something for everyone! Wednesday - Saturday lots of added fun with dancing and crazy trivia, hula hoop contest and prizes. Come and have some fun with the Patio Playground DJ - oldies, 80s, and all request nights.
Came here with our 3 year old granddaughter and her parents-had a great time. It's not all big and fancy like the newer courses, it's old school and we loved it. Everyone was friendly. They also sell ice cream!!!

This vacation spot is a true quiet and relaxing area of the North Carolina coastline. Places to eat out, fish markets, fishing boats, ice cream, and small shops to enjoy. Just a fun, nature centered area.

A warm friendly bar, bookstore and shop on Topsail Island.
A good selection of beer and wine served up by a friendly staff.
The real draw here for me is Doug McFarlen. I was really impressed with Doug's guitar playing, vocals and song writing. This Cat can play.

It was a bit tricky to find – our sat nav took us round the back.
This is a great place.
When you enter you pay you $5 admission (well worth the money) and walk down the corridor. There are manned exhibits. Stop at each one in turn to learn about conservation and the ocean. Then move on to the “tank areas” one is the hospital, the other is the rehab area where the turtles recover before being released.
The volunteers are very friendly and knowledgeable, one even offered to take my phone over to the tanks that were furthest away to take photos for me.
A really interesting place, undertaking really wonderful work.
There is a small gift shop (got me some socks with turtles on), and toilets on site.
You must visit.

Steeped in Island History and located on the south end of Topsail Island, this museum has it all; from Pirates to the threshold of modern space technology!! Exhibits include: Operation Bumblebee, Camp Davis, Women Air Force Service Pilots (WASP), Pirates, Island wonders, and an international shell collection you have to see to believe! Discover the interactive children's area and find your own sharks tooth in the outdoor fossil dig located behind the Talos missile display.
Talk about a Hidden Gem. This is a must-see Museum. friends who had lived in Wilmington all of their lives recommended this place. They did not know the importance that Topsail really played until they took this tour. I hope that this place never closes...MoreThank you for your great review. We are so glad you enjoyed your visit and hope you will share our Hidden Gem with friends and family!

Here at EMA we believe that hands-on learning is the best kind of learning! We offer classes for kids ages 4-7 and ages 8-12. Our summer program consists of a variety of shorter (1 day or 3 day) programs and are designed to be fun and encourage children to explore the outdoors. We strive to ignite children's natural curiosity about the world around them while providing them with the knowledge and tools to preserve, protect, and enjoy our environment! We also offer a FREE Community Class every Tuesday at 1:00pm at the Kinston Street beach access! We can't wait to adventure with you!
We scheduled a Ghost Crab Monitoring session with Ecological Marine Adventures. We were impressed with the whole experience, and our kids loved it! The hosts were knowledgeable, excited about the event, learned the kids' names, and really tried to make it enjoyable for them. Kudos to EMA for making an excellent little event! We spent every night for the rest of our vacation using what we learned to look for ghost crabs!

This is a nice little relaxing spot in a little relaxing town. We just like to sit and watch the clouds roll by and the fishermen/women put their boats in the water. There's a playground for the children. There are also a few picnic tables under cover. They also have restrooms. We purposely drove here to watch the sunsets and were not disappointed.

A great selection of gifts right in Topsail Beach. Don't miss the upstairs where you'll find holiday items and the toy room. Wonderful fine jewelry selection, but they have everything, right down to a small section with sunscreen.

This is my favorite jog at sunrise every year, from Queen's Grant down to the Surf City pier. Sometimes it takes me all week to get all the way down here. Leave as the sky lightens to get back before the sun gets punishing.

Roller skating like it was back in the 70s. Wood floor good music no fancy lighting system one disco ball and lots of fun. We are open every night Also located down stairs is Sonny's Snack and Craft Shop. Serving Ice Cream, Hot and cold drinks and assorted snacks. And crafts from local artist. March through September the rest of the year we open occasionally like and check out our Facebook page for updated hours. Sonny's is underneath the skating rink. Open Mon-Sat 11am until...Ice Cream, Hot and cold drinks and assorted snacks. Local made crafts.
Was invited to a friend's birthday party, upon entry this place was sweltering and no one seemed concerned about it. The fans just blew hot air the entire time. Floors were worn out, sparse bench seating and the sound system was terrible. Forget about a snack bar.
I suppose with nothing much to do on the Island this probably looks like fun. But I was really disappointed at how run down and uncomfortable it was. They need a real game center on the Island, or at least a serious upgrade for the only skating rink in town.
