We are a small family-run equestrian business located in the unspoiled Tipperary uplands. We believe that small is beautiful and that you deserve an experience tailored to your needs. We care passionately about our horses, the environment, and our guests. Whether you come for a riding lesson, a trek, or a residential stay, we aim to provide you with memories to treasure.
Tipperary Mountain Trekking Centre is a great place run by two of the most welcoming people. All the horses are really happy and well cared for. The views around the place are spectacular. I couldn’t recommend this place enough to anyone who loves horses, good company and beautiful countryside.

The beautiful 12th century abbey at Holycross on the backs of the River Suir is enchanting. It's a working church still today which makes it all the more wonderful to visit. The interior walls are whitewashed with high vaulted ceilings with lovely wooden cross beams. What makes it so unique is the incredible sloping floor. There is a serious hill down from the door to the altar! I honestly don't think I've been in a religious building quite like it. Wonderfully serene and the stained glass windows really add to the atmosphere. The exterior is equally lovely with a largely intact cloiser and beautiful stone facades. It's free to enter although there is a donation box which they politely ask that you consider supporting. Its a worthy cause too as it's a wonderful place.

Visited Thurles a few weeks back, a friend of mine who previously worked in the area recommended to visit P.O Gormans (The Monk) bar on the Wednesday night.... It was a fantastic experience, what a beautiful bar , superb pints of Guinness , the Bar Man Skinner a great and welcoming host...The impromptu traditional music session was brilliant, at one stage there were at least 12-15 traditional musicians playing ... electric atmosphere ... If your ever in Thurles on a Wednesday i would highly recommend a visit to P.O Gormans Bar..
