Busch Gardens Tampa is the ultimate family adventure, offering 300 acres of fascinating attractions based on exotic explorations around the world. A unique blend of thrilling rides, one of the country's premier zoos with more than 12,000 animals, live shows, restaurants, shops and games, Busch Gardens Tampa provides unrivaled excitement for guests of every age.
My husband and I went with my parents and had a blast. The rides and shows were great. There were plenty of places to sit and rest (my mom had recently had a knee replacement, so she needed to sit regularly). The animals were fun to see as well. We will definitely go back next time we are in Tampa.

The leading canoe outfitter on the Hillsborough River offers trips anywhere from two hours to all day long.
Having grown up in Tampa I had a healthy fear of the Alligators on the Hillsborough River and always shied away from being in a canoe or kayak on the river. So glad, my husband challenged my fear and we headed out on Black Thursday for a kayak trip. The river was quiet on an overcast day. The outpost staff were super friendly and helpful. we will be back.

Played golf here week before July 4th; nice layout, nice "after round" clubhouse dining and friendly staff. Pace of play was very reasonable and "tee to green" really good shape; very reasonably priced and beautiful homes surrounding this "city course"; "back in the day" apparently hosted local PGA event that over time has been lost to "giant courses"

Created for gamers, by gamers, Geek Out! A LAN Gaming Center was born in Tampa, just minutes from USF, in August of 2016. We wanted to bring the e-sports community a place to meet like minded people, have fun, and connect in an environment not just over the internet. Many of our customers enjoy games such as Playunknown's Battleground, League of Legends, CS:GO, as well as Overwatch, just to name a few. Geek Out's purpose is solely for PC Gaming and eSports. Feel free to call us or send us an email if you have any questions at all!
Geek Out is a new LAN gaming center on 56th Street near Temple Terrace and USF. They have computers you can rent hourly with top graphics and processors to handle most modern gaming. In addition, there are also video game consoles and snacks/drinks available to buy.
The hours are the best part - Geek Out is open daily from around 12PM to around 1AM - but usually open even later than that if you show up earlier. In a city where everything seems to shut down around 10PM - this is definitely a plus. Also the internet speed here is top-notch.
The staff is pretty friendly as well and play video games themselves - easy to relate to and they keep the place clean and keep expanding the shop.
I definitely recommend coming by here if you've ever been to a PC cafe or video game room in Korea or other countries. The price is fair and the owners are great!

1926 movie palace is on the National Register of Historic Places and still plays its Wurlitzer organ before shows.
My wife and I have attended several performances at the Tampa Theater. It's always a treat to visit this carefully restored old theater and see the "old way" of going to the movies, like our parents and grandparents did. We've been to Oscar-nominated short film events, a sign along version of the classic hit movie, "Grease" starring John Travolta, and it is always a fun time. We especially enjoy the organist playing music before the show, then disappearing, organ and all, below the stage.

The sandwiches are okay but the restaurant is rather dimly lit & loud. There are so many better sports bars & restaurants in the area that you could select, this is not your best.

Lettuce Lake Park opened in 1982 and quickly became a hub of activities. The 240-acre site offers something for everyone. Wooded picnic areas and a playground are family favorites. A 1.25 mile bicycle path/jogging trail, complete with a fitness course, meander through the park. Lettuce Lake is also a haven to study nature. An interpretive center, featuring exhibits, leads to a 3,500-foot boardwalk and an observation tower where visitors can view an extensive variety of wildlife. Canoes and kayaks are available for rent to visitors to experience a wholenew side of the Park.
We visit Lettuce Lake regularly. There are a number of trails including a paved loop shared-use trail, unpaved hiking trails, and a boardwalk. The scenery is varied consisting of wetlands and the Hillsborough River to oak and pine forests. This is a great place to see birds including hawks. The only downside is that it can be crowded at times particularly on the boardwalk. Also, noise from the many pavilions can reduce the ambiance of the place on some days. Overall it's a nice place to get into nature.

Amazingly beautiful Catholic Church. We have visited churches, chapels and cathedrals all over the world and this is definitely one of the most beautiful. The stained glass windows are wonderful. During the day it is peaceful and the atmosphere invites reflection. The gift shop, which is located right next door to the Church is excellent and well stocked.

This not Busch or Guinness,
It’s Yuengling and it’s their brewery and it’s their tour.
An excellent simple tour of of the brewery by our tour guide, who was full of Yuengling history and facts .
Then a few samples of beers.
Will be back .
