A must visit area for history lovers and it's really a nice place u would love to see the heritage and there is amazing view of Hyderabad city from it. Only issue local guys carve their names on the monuments making it look real bad...sometimes, some places. Yeah the kind of crowd goes in generally is pathetic.

Salar Jung Museum is a collection or arts, artifacts, jewels from around the world. Salar Jung III was the Prime Minister of the Nizam of Hyderabad and his love for collecting artifacts is showcased in this museum. However, not all of his collections is displayed here. A few of the famous ones are Lord Vishnu sleeping on a serpent (made out of granite), The Veiled Rebecca (marble statue), The British Bracket Clock (a small toy comes out and hits the gong every hour), The Jade room, Double Statue of Mephistopheles & Margaretta (carved out of single piece of wood it has 2 distinct faces on either side). There are paintings by Raja Ravi Varma as well. It will take more than an entire day to visit all the rooms and look at all the artifacts. Atleast keep 2-3 hours aside to walk through the galleries. There is also a small souvenier shop on the ground floor. On a weekend the queues are long and try not to go on a public holiday as one cannot enjoy the artifacts in peace :) I have been to this museums multiple times and every time I lay my eyes on something new which I may have not looked at previously.

Visitors can learn all about the local film industry here, which is one of the largest in India.
We opted for a one-day package. The whole place is well organized right from the entry. We were guided neatly by the staff in every place. The first step is a bus tour where you are taken along the places where usually the film shooting happens for different scenes. One staff explains as we travel along. We get down at one place, see around and then take another bus to go to another place. All these are neatly arrange without any confusion. The highlight of the visit was Bahubali set where we spent a lot of time. They also have other activities like studio attractions, wild west stunt show (this was just brilliant) etc., A surprising thing was the wide variety of birds they have in the bird park. If you are a bird lover, don't miss this! In the evening, there was a entertainment show followed by the carnival parade. Both of them were thoroughly enjoyable. This place has many more to its list of attractions. Definitely worth the visit. Tip: 1. Better to go as early as possible as it gets crowded later 2. If you are on one-day package and if you like to see stunts, cinema making etc., it's better to complete them first and then take the guided tour. Check for the bus timings also to make a decision 3. The restaurants get very crowded during lunch time. Plan yours accordingly 4. They have photographers. It is good to make use of them and get good photos (this is a paid service, but worth it)

A place worth visiting as it is a place for Aksharabyasam located on the banks of river Godavari. It is said that this is a place where Maharshi Vyasa found peace after a penance. He used to place daily an handful of sand from the banks of river Godavari into three parts and the Goddess has appeared from that sand and so the temple has even the deity of mahalaxmi, mahakali besides Vyasa Guha. There is also Yagnashala for Homam and Goshala. Except on festivals most of the time not much rush is there and easy darshan of the Mother is possible. Camera is strictly restricted but there is a provision for deposition of cell phone. There are separate counters for Laddu and Pulihora as prasadam. There is counter for sale of Sarees decorated to the holy Deity. There is separate route to reach the Ghat of river Godavari to offer prayers.

Near warangal in Telangana state. Built by the kaktiyas. The symettry and exquisite carvings leave you spellbound. A single stone column gives 7 different sounds. A huge nandi beckons the visitors. The carvings around the temple can best be explained by sekhar, the local guide. It's a must visit place

Visited this temple on friday in ashada month with my family and was very crowded. Had a wonderful darshan of kali ammavaru and felt very happy. Bonalu is the main festival celebrated here, people from all over telangana come here for bonalu jathara to offer naivedyam (rice, curd, spinach, neem leaves, turmeric, kumkum) and receive blessings of the goddess. Every friday vadi biyyam (turmeric rice) is offered to ammavaru and everyday kumkuma archana & pushpa puja is performed here. All the wishes are fulfilled if you have great faith. A must visit temple in Secunderabad.
