This shop is really a step back in time. As we meandered through the variety of rooms, all with different themes, we were awed by the variety of things that remind me of my childhood. It's an experience from the moment you park and enter this unique shop.

This place is a BLAST! Jam packed with so many games, you should be able to find something fun to do here. Pool, Pinball, Darts, Foosball and Golf, and the selection is fantastic. Love Pinball? They have some vintage games as well as the latest, all in excellent condition. Be aware that they have League nights for both Pool and Pinball teams, the place has been busy nearly every time I was there. While it's not really a restaurant, they do have simple food, but boy is it GOOD! They have a large selection of beers as well. The best part is the staff, they are all very attentive and genuinely happy that you are there! Go with your friends and have a great time!

Yes, Lake County has a botanical garden! Featuring Florida-Friendly Landscape (FFL) plants in over 22 themed gardens, homeowners and visitors can see different plants, trees, and even vegetables growing over 7 acres of land. They are open 7 days a week and the 3rd Saturday of each month. You can use a map to navigate around or just wander along the paved paths (accessibility!). We go different times during the year in order to see all the different blooming/flowering plants and trees. They also grow all different vegetables and fruit trees throughout the year so you know what grows when. Want to learn more about FFL? Go on Tuesday and Thursday mornings when Master Gardener Volunteers are taking care of the grounds. They are happy to point out different plants or answer questions. The gardens are part of the UF/IFAS Extension, Lake County Office and maintained by Master Gardener Volunteers. Classes and events are also sponsored, so be sure to go to the website and sign-up! Oh, they also have a Plant CLinic that is manned by Master Gardener Volunteers who are happy to assist you with your landscape and gardening questions.

Went to golf at Deer Island while in Florida visiting family. The course is very challenging but still a very nice course with wildlife everywhere. Saw many alligators and even saw a pair of raccoons scamper across the fairway on one of the holes. Clubhouse staff were great and offered up some freebies due to a couple of holes being worked on while we were there. Beer prices were great and the staff in the bar area after we finished golfing were outstanding and very friendly.

Loved visiting Jungle Zone. They really made sure our little one's birthday party was super super special. They can take care of everything from food, balloons, cake and even goody bags.
