Planet Sea Scuba Centre

Planet SEA has been established for over 25 years and is family run by locals who know the Maltese coast inside out. Situated in the heart of Ta'Xbiex right by the sea edge Edward Arrigo the founder of the club and one of Malta's pioneers of diving, represented our country in spearfishing competitions in the 50's and 60s. Today he is still showing his passion for the sea and enjoys sharing his experiences with others. With over 40,000 dives under his belt, he has quite a few stories to share. Divers or non divers are always welcome at the club for a chat and coffee and hopefully a dive to remember. Wishing you all calm seas!

RMYC Sailing School

We are committed to deliver sailing tuition of a high standard to attract more people to our beautiful sport and pastime, no matter if you are a complete beginner or someone who has tried sailing earlier in life and would like to take it up again. We offer dinghy sailing courses for all ages 7 and above from our base at the Royal Malta Yacht Club, Ta' Xbiex, situated beside the Black Pearl Restaurant. What is Dinghy Sailing? Dinghies are small open sailing boats which are great for day sailing, having fun and racing. They are a popular, affordable and exciting way of getting afloat. Nearly all of the sailing clubs and Training Centres will use sailing dinghies making them really accessible. What equipment do you need? You don't need to bring anything special with you just a change of clothes, a T-shirt, shorts and a pair of gym shoes you don't mind getting wet. We will provide you with lifejacket. What can you do after you have learnt to sail? There are so many opportunities to make being on the water a part of your life. You may like to join a club and enjoy the social life that comes with it, or take part in competitions, or even work towards a career in the watersports industry.
