We showed up and were taken into his “work shop” . Where he came out and started joking with the crowd of 20 + people. He told us how he got started which was when he was 16 making beer for friend’s. Then he walked us into his life one story at a time this was very interesting. He also had a batch of something I can not remember what it was called but we could look into it and smell it then he told us what it was and what he did with it . He also showed us how he makes Apple Spice Moon Shine. After wards we got to buy product and he has a sheet of paper so that you know what to mix with what. This is a 5 star attraction for sure.

This beachfront restaurant and bar is a sprawling complex which includes a campsite and boat rental. We thought the food would be mediocre, but to our surprise it was excellent. They really do have some of the best fries you've ever tasted. The drinks are delicious, if not a little overpriced. A frozen drink will run you $8 to $10. Service was very fast and accurate. The staff works like a well-oiled machine.

A great idea for bachelor/bachelorette parties.Hey Brandon, Glad to hear that you had a great time! Wish you would have given us 5 star but we'll take it. Thanks!

The National Shrine of Mary, Mother of the Church is dedicated to Mary and all mothers. Our mission is to promote a true appreciation of motherhood, the preciousness of life and the integrity of the family. The Shrine has become known as The Mother's Shrine because of our Mother's Wall of Life. We have a beautiful outdoor grotto where we celebrate pilgrimages, mass, and other celebrations. The Shrine was dedicated in 1992 with the installation of the sculpture of Mary. It was formally designated a National Shrine in 2003. We have a church on site, St. Patrick's Shrine Church. We also have a gift shop and we have several festivals throughout the year. Christmas Festival of Lights is from Thanksgiving to New Years. Come drive through and sip a hot beverage while you look in the gift shop. Our business office hours are 8am-4pm Monday-Friday. The Shrine is open from 6am-10pm Daily. Come see our beautiful tribute to Mothers.
A beautiful location for contemplation. The Shrine is well designed and well maintained and free of charge.

We love going here with the kids. Especially on a hot day. The view is spectacular and the small museum is great. It does not take long and is very interesting. They have rocking chairs and checkers set up so if you just want to rest you can. I also like the coupons they have. Great place to start your visit to the lake area.

What a beautiful setting for lunch and a "getaway" from lake life. The service was friendly and informative re: wine choices. The prices seemed to be in line with the gorgeous surrounding. All they need is a fire pit to go with that water feature and that amazing setting and it would be a perfect place!

Took my 4 year old grandchild on the morning treasure hunt cruise. There was a birthday party group along as well. The cruise staff was awesome! They were all really upbeat and stayed in character.
I can't say enough good things about the staff.
They took the kids across the lake and on land for the treasure hunt. This is a blast for the kids. They each had a turn at the wheel and could run all over safely.
Dressing as a pirate is the best way to attend and keeps spirits high. My kiddo could not stop talking about it and wants to go back.
If you are looking for s fantastic, memorable time--this is it!
I will definitely go back! It would be good fun for an adult event I am certain!
They also have a very cool bar and restaurant with gift shop. We did not eat there but if time permits will next time. The bar has a boat in back of it, very cool.
As if that were not enough, they had a live parrot the kids could have stand on their arm or shoulder and a friendly dog! Love this place!
Watch and follow the signs on the road. My garmin had a crazy directions that were not accurate. Would check their website.

This place is comfortable but they allow smoking in half of it which moves through the whole restaurant/bar. Very friendly staff. Prices were reasonable. They even have a limo that will come and pick you up and take you back to where you are staying.

Rated as one of the most scenic caverns in America, Bridal Cave has more formations per square foot than any other known cave or cavern in the United States. Park facilities include visitors center, cave tours, gift shop, rock shop, boat dock(on Lake of the Ozarks), nature trails, gemstone mining and observation tower. Open Year Round.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The location is scenic. The road going there is steep and might be a challenge for large RVs. The cave is pretty and has many fascinating formations. I would say that if you have been through several other caves you may not find this to be that exciting. We have been through about a dozen and we have decided that there must be something e trembly unique before we venture into another.

We simply saw this on the map while driving across country, so we excuse the pun swung by. You have to drive quite a way in, and there is really nothing there but 2 suspension bridges 1000 feet apart that carry traffic one way. Hubby drove the f250 across, while I walked haha with out problems. A little bridge groan, and some crackling wood. The 2 bridges were built in 1922 & 1925, the wire suspension bridge is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. Although an inspection conducted in 2015 rated it structurally deficient due to its poor superstructure condition, that doesn’t stop daily traffic from locals and the looking Lou’s from crossing it.
There is a nice place to swim and the river looks nice for a little kayak. I am not sure if the creek and land are private so you might ask before you put something in the creek.
