This is a great theater, even though it's gone through several managements in the last few years. You can't beat being able to book your seat in advance (although warning: don't wait until the last minute or you'll find yourself with no availability), and you can find good deals on the popcorn as well. Thumbs up!

We found this great" Indian" clothier in Spotswood. It was very well stocked, and the selections were amazing. Be sure to call for their hours of operation, as their only open a few days per week for retail. Their staff was extremely helpful and attentive to our questions and suggested the proper clothing for an event we were attending. Such beautiful clothing some so ornate you were made to feel like royalty. Clean and brightly lit. Even though we are not from there culture I felt like the staff wanted to help us and be sure that we looked good at our event. Soooo kind !!!
We will not have to drive all the way to Edison any longer. When our family and friends come in from Chicago we will be taking them there. Thanks to the great team at Regards Wholesale.

Saw thrice last night, awesome show. This was our second concert at this venue, we like sitting side stage near the restroom (inches away from the bands entering the stage!), get there early this place gets packed. I invested in VIP parking both times, worth every penny for a nice parking spot and cutting the entire line on a cold rainy night! I appreciate the security team for being as tough as they are, you can't take chances today. The bartender was friendly and the drink prices are decent ($12 a beer at the wellmont theater compared to $7 at starland).

Just saw America perform this week--great concert and perfect example of how the State Theatre brings in many nostalgic bands in addition to children's events, a Broadway series with hot shows on Broadway, blues and jazz, comedians, and much more. Prices are reasonable compared to...MoreThanks William - glad you enjoyed the show!

Stayed here for a 2 night race event at Englishtown. Rooms with 2 other couples. I made the arrangements so was nervous tnat the rooms would be run down. The rooms are updates and comfortable. They have a refridge and microwave besides the coffee maker. Breakfast was usual hotel - eggs, bacon, cereals and make your own waffles. Desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Will stay here again next year

Pool bar. Clean, good drinks, fun staff. Good neighborhood place. Only issue is the host a pool league every night so no one else can come in and just shoot a game for fun.

The asset to this place, which makes it shine above the others is the staff.
Shaun and Robert particularly stood out as super customer service oriented individuals. We went the Saturday after Christmas, a day they didn't expect to be nearly sixty degrees and crowded. Because much of the staff had been given the day off, these two men had to work extra hard, and their efforts paid off. I didn't notice a shortness of staff at all, and hours after I had paid, Shaun still referred to me by my name when he saw me, and Robert sought me out to ask if my boys were having fun.
We went to this place, which is farther from my home than another paintball place, because we purchased a Groupon deal. We did still have to pay for coveralls, tax, and a box of additional paintballs (my choice to purchase), so the entire day for two teenage boys ended up costing around $100, but there was no time limit, and if they hadn't been worn down by their fierce battles by 3:00, they could've stayed and played all day.
We will definitely return, not because of the cost, or because the place is any better than other paintball establishments, but because the workers were courteous, considerate, and really care about their customers.

We've arrived early (an hour after it opened on Saturday morning) and I'm glad we did. The place is great with vast variety of activities to keep anyone entertained for a while. However, as the number of visitors grew, so did the level of chaos and the concerns for everyone's safety. On the trampolines, for example, you could find a large size adult, a teenager and a toddler on the same trampoline square. There was a one monitor (all seemed to be of high school age) per activity and in 3 hours there, I've only heard maybe two safety related instructions. Nothing is wrong with hiring teenagers, but maybe a little bit more training and some adult supervision would be useful... We might try Urban Air Trampoline Park again to see if arriving at the opening time would make a difference.

Heirloom Kitchen is an evolving culinary center offering dinner service in a open kitchen, cooking classes, and a carefully curated selection of kitchenwares and table-top. We are committed to sourcing the finest quality ingredients and creating both elevated and interactive dining experiences. Heirloom Kitchen is now offering dinner service. We offer chef's table seating around our kitchen island where guests can watch Chef Viana and his team prepare and artfully present their dishes. Communal seating at our Farm Table and more traditional dining options are also available. Chef Viana's menu, changing with the seasons and often weekly, features modern, playful takes on American classics. Our cooking school offers a variety of hands-on classes from pasta-making, healthy cooking, ethnic cooking, basic skills, and making the most of the season's fresh produce, to digging into a four-course meal you've made yourself (with a little help from our prestigious chefs, local butcheries, fisheries, and farms).
i do not use those words too often in my reviews but wow! i never expected the place to be that good! food, atmosphere, and staff were just top, top notch-- especially christine. very friendly, cozy, yet professional. service was impeccable. we sat on the chef's counter and watched as they masterfully prepared and plated their creations. i tries the eggplant ravioli and creamed cheese chard. evrything else i tasted from others was simply amazing. just look at my pictures. the duck breast was the best i have had in years. this is a farm to table place and of course everything was freshly prepped. the heirloom bread and home made butter are a must. you wont be disappointed. oh i will be back.

I have been coming here for years. When I was a kid it was for the lake and picnic areas. Now I refuse to go to the lake as the people who seem to go are rude, loud and obnoxious. They do have an area to buy food, but it's a bit over priced. Outside of the lake area are great walking, hiking and biking trails. It is quite beautiful and you may even forget you're in NJ for a bit. Try to load the car up as entry during the "on season" is charged per car.
