This temple is one of ancient Somnath Temple, which was re-built by Indore's Queen, Ahilyabai Holkar. The temple is small and you will have to go to basement of the temple to offer your prayer to Lord Somnath.

A grand Shree Ram temple was opened at Somnath under Shree Somnath Trust of Gujarat on Vijaya Dashmi 2017. Somnath has already the temples of Shiv and Shri Krishna, now Shri Ram also blesses devotees near Triveni Sangam.
This large temple dedicated to Lord Rama is an exquisite sculptural heritage and Parshuramji temple built in backyard of the temple dedicated to incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

This is the place where Lord Krishna getting distressed over loss of Yadav clan was resting under a Pipal tree. One hunter Bhalla looking at feet thought it were face of a dear shot an arrow which took away human life of Lord Krishna. That's why place is known as Bhalka Tirath. However it has been left abandoned n is in a shabby condition where places of Nirvan even of modern people are beautifully decorated n monumented. Wish Government or Trust allot this matter the spirituality need.

Along with world-famous Somnath Temple, Somnath Beach also forms an important part of the itinerary of a tourist visiting Gujarat. It is famous for its beautifully sparkling waves and long stretches of gray sands. Travelers can unwind here after a long day of sightseeing, although, swimming is not recommended. Sunsets are particularly beautiful and add a romantic touch to the end of a great day.
This beach is adjoining the Somnath Temple. As you walk from the Lilavati Guest House, you cross the statue of Vir Hamirji Gohil riding a horse and continue down the road which reaches the beach. There are lots of shops selling Tender Coconuts, snacks etc. In the evening, there were horse and camel rides. The camels and the 'howda' had been festooned with colourful ribbons. There was para-sailing (while being pulled by a Jeep) too. We walked along the beach which seemed clean near the temple, However as we moved significantly away, we noticed that the sea water had greenish hued foam (some contamination / industrial pollution?). So we stayed away from the water. It is a good place to see the sun set over the Somnath Temple.

I had been to this location on 1st Jan’19 morning around 8:30am. It’s really nice to see the water and group of birds flying around us, there are different types of birds on the floor and in the water. There is an option to buy some food for these birds for which the group of birds will come near us to take food. This is a must visit place, kids will enjoy a lot!
